Does delicasy translate into "disgusting" or something?

LOL you are so right...once I had to eat Duck Tongue...to be polite!


that was completely disgusting tasting and it's texture was even worse..

I think anyone would consider them gross if they weren't exposed to those foods before. One would have to acquire a taste for them. I think the best way to develop a taste for a food item that you are newly introduced to is to sample small bites and savor them. Get a feel for the texture; try to figure out what familiar aromas and ingredients are in it. Young children don't like a serving of caviar with a shot of vodka. These foods are slowly appreciated with time.

They are not. Some things like magoes and creme brule are delicious.
