I really only pay attention to the thumbs up...the thumbs down doesn't matter and I pray for the person that gave that rating.

I wish I could give more than one thumbs up....especially to people like Father K.

It depends on which answer received a thumbs-down. If it's one that I worked really hard on, then I feel somewhat annoyed that someone dismissed it merely because I'm a Christian.
But I suppose it does make me feel like I'm doing something right. In the past few months since I've been on this site, I've received quite a bit of hate mail and harassment. I must REALLY be getting under peoples' skin for that to happen, because I'm not a mean person...so there's no other reason for the hate.

I figure that I must have given a great answer. Multiple thumbs up or thumbs down means the same to me.

So you are deliberately posting answers that you know will get thumbs down just so you can feel persecuted and prove your righteousness?

Doesn't something seem not quite right there?

Is it really a good thing to go through all that knowing in doing so you are actually driving people away from your faith?

Why would it make us feel any differently than it would make anyone else feel when they get a thumbs down? It's a thumb! Big whoop!

I am not a Christian; can I get a thumbs UP?

It bothered me at first, but then I came to the same conclusion that you did. It really doesn't matter what someone else thinks, as long as they're hearing the Gospel.

It makes no difference to me at all. I don't live for a thumbs up on Yahoo. I live to honor Christ.

God Bless!

It is kind of a wake up call. There are views out there other than my own and I'd better find out what those views are.
