How many of us... Oh, yes, I know. Let me try again.

Hello, welcome to the CIC (Christian Information Center). Right now, there are 25,768 Christians praying that Bush does not bomb Iran and instead deve... Oh, wait, there are only 25,767 Christians praying about that. One of them had his car stolen by somebody from Iran and started praying for the opposite course of events...

I've been praying everyday since Bush won the Republican nomination; however, obviously God had different plans. I can't understand it myself. It bothers me that our troops are dying everyday in a situation that we shouldn't even be involved in. I've been praying double-time since he unveiled his new plan to send more troops into Iraq to secure Baghdad, that a new, more permanent solution would be sought. And I certainly hope we don't begin another war when we haven't even succeeded in the one that is still ongoing. I don't know what God's plan is for the world at this moment, but I do believe that God allows us to deal with the consequences of our own actions. He gave us free will and isn't going to just be there to wave his hand and change things when we make mistakes. And Bush was elected -- not once, but twice -- so basically, we made our bed and we'll have to lie in it.

I will pray God's will be done. Maybe a bomb is in the plan. Even though the bombs in Japan were devastating, it brought the war to an end, probably saving more lives in the long run.

I will pray that God won't let Bush do anything stupid. I was absolutely shocked when he was re-elected. He is going about this whole thing terribly wrong. But, he's not listening to anyone in the rest of government.

I pray that Bush seek God's advice and do God's will. No matter what happens, I know God's in control.

any peace agreement would have to be along the lines of what we could do to appease the terrorists, which is nothing. The Islamic extremists hate us & they believe they have a mandate from their religion to kill infidels (anybody not muslim). The extremists would not honor the agreement, so that is useless. I cannot in good conscience pray for that. I can & do pray for God to have His way.

I'm hoping he does. I hate theocracies.

At the same time however it's kind of ironic that a man who wants to turn the US into a theocracy is bombing another theocracy.
