Yippy: I didn't know that God condemned you to "hell" - did He tell you this ? God loves ALL people both, male and female and all the races He created. Jesus was of the Jewish race and the Jewish race is of the Tribe of Judah - the "royal" race where the kings of Israel all hailed from. "Amen" can be better rendered "and it is so" or "it is true" - a conclusion of agreement. It has nothing to do with being "sexist" ! Take heart; God will be "answering the problems of His creation" at the return of Jesus Christ to this earth in the not too distant future. He is waiting for His human creation to learn a few things first though. Also; you are being presumptious, in assuming that Christians do not "know" God and we only know "what has been handed down to us". This is truly, incorrect ! And YES; all the writers of the Bible were sinners - like you and I BUT with one difference, the Holy Spirit from God, inspired the writngs of the "Bible" and that is why it is commonly referred to as the HOLY Bible. I being a Christian wouldn't trust the Holy Bibile either, if it were written by mere men ! The Holy Bibile contains prophecies about what is in store for mankind in the coming future . The bottom-line is - after all is said and done - we ALL WIN in the end !!! So; have no dispair about God - Jesus - nor Christians because God is in the saving business and you will one day, be part of all of this and loving it !!!

First off, let's undertand that he was only a Man. He spoke the language he grew up learning. The sexist remark is bogus, as that is just the way people spoke and believed then. It was understood that it was all encompassing.
Second, What RACE do you speak of? I know of only one: THE HUMAN RACE! All those that believe that there are other races are the real fools. That kind of descrimination is what will eventually kill us all, not a prediction. We as a divided people believing that one is better than the other and not working together is what will bring the prediction and make it true.
Thirdly, We need demand nothing from GOD. We need to demand the changes from ourselves first. We were given freedom of choice to do with as we see fit. It's not Gods fault that we have been failing in that respect.
Lastly, your last question. Why would God condem you to Hell? He won't. It's your choice, not his. God will only acknowledge the choice you made. And Yes. The Writers of the bible were sinners. They were mere men, and its in the blood. Its upto each one of us to make the concious decision for that to be different. We can do right or do wrong. Its your choice.
This is all of course, my opinion. Take as you wish.

There are places in the Bible where it is claimed that the apostles were able to understand all languages (the "gift of tongues"), so presumably Jesus may have been able to do so also. But he lived in a very small area, never traveled more than a few miles from his home. The people there all spoke Aramaic, except of course for the Romans. I wonder if he ever learned Latin? And certainly he must have known some Hebrew, because he amazed the elders in the Temple.
But your rant is not really about the question, is it? It is difficult to understand exactly what it is about, but the bottom line seems to be that you do not take the Bible literally. Fine. Lots of people read it for its social and literary value, without believing it is specially written by God or anything of the kind.
But if you have a copy of the King James Bible, you have something which has been a significant part of our culture for hundreds of years, which includes many, many passages that have become quotes and song lyrics and all sorts of recognizable things. Like Shakespeare, it should be something included in a well-rounded education.

The 'man' in the context means humanity in general.
Why come from a certain race you say? Before asking that kind of question, why not look into other religions. Ask why the Buddha has a chinky eyes, or why are Hindu Gods are like, well, Indians and animals. Why not a big round eyes for a Buddha, or an Americanized Immigrant for a Hindu God, will that make sense?
We create an image of God based upon what we perceive. If you live on that era, that no race besides yours exist, will you associate the concept of a god as someone other than your own. Think about it.
Honestly, I don't know that much about God, but I beliieve. Demand God answers? That's preposterous! First of, we are inferiors and demanding that to the Almighty is like asking a lion to sit.
Before making harsh comments about the Bible, and all the books and writtings about religions, why not READ it first?

How do you know he only spoke the one language? No writings that I am aware of said that.
No, He loves all people, both men and women.
Amen has nothing to do with gender.
It doesn't matter which race He came as, you would be asking the same question.
It does no good to gain the world if you lose your soul.
The problems with His creation are not of His making but of our own. You can't blame God for our stupid actions. He has told us what He expects and we don't listen.
Yes, all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. He does not condemn you. You condemn yourself through your actions. God was merciful in that He prepared a way that you don't have to be condemned. All you have to do is put your faith in Jesus Christ and live a Christ-like life. Do what Jesus taught as written in the Holy Scriptures. Believe on Him and you can gain salvation from your sins.

You don't know how many languages. He was God He surely could speak any language he wanted to. He just didn't speak to heathens. He wouldn't come as a Heathen of course. They are all going to Hell anyway. The writers of the Bible were only sinners when they wasn't in Grace. They wrote Gods dictation the Holy Bible while they were in Grace.

Jesus said in Matthew 15:24 "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel," meaning that the Lord's mortal ministry was confined to the Jewish people. Therefore, there was no need for the Lord to speak any other language than the Hebrew. However, do you not think that if the Lord chose to He could speak in any language? The Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, could command even mother nature and do you not think that He also could speak in many different languages? Even the Apostles, by the power of the Holy Ghost, spoke in foreign tongues. Could not the Holy Messiah do the same? Of course he could.

"Men" can be used to refer to men and women, so that is NOT a sexist remark. Amen has no etymological relationship to the word men and derives from Hebrew, so that is also not sexist. Jesus spoke the language of the people to whom He came, Aramaic. If He was in India, He would have spoken Indian languages. If He had gone to Rome, He would have spoken Latin.
Jesus came from the Middle Eastern race because He was the Messiah promised in the Jewish scriptures. He was meant to come from the line of David, and for this reason, He was an olive-skinned Israelite. He was "Asiatic". He was NOT European or white.
Hell is remoteness from God. Heaven is nearness to God. You can only condemn yourself to remoteness from God. If you turn the mirror of your heart to the Sun of Truth (God), you will feel the love of God in your life.
Personally, I believe the Bible is an inspired work. Not wholly infallible or wholly accurate, but true in principle. If you do not trust the Bible, there are later works of Scripture that are 100% authentic holy writ. These include the Qur'an and Baha'i Writings (see http://reference.bahai.org/).

amen means so be it,or again i say depending on the context. in prayer form it can also be taken as "and us". s othe term is in no way sexist. the bible is clear that god and jesus loved all of mankind, for god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son.............in gods plan of salvation god sent jesus to enter all peoples into his new covenant so that ALL may be saved. this would have happened if jesus was asian, hispanic, european or any nationality. jesus spoke the language that was appropiate to where he was and after pentecost his apostles were given the gift of tongues so that all peoples present could hear the gospel/good news. the problem with gods creation is not his doing but is within our greedy desire to sin. you say we only know what we do because what was handed down to us.........how do you know anything if it was not handed down to you in one form or another, i could even say you only know what you know because of your mother and father,or einstein, pathagrus, isaac newton, alexander bell etc.............and i can say that you are wrong because all those people were sinners and thus they are liars, going by your own reasoning. as for god condemning you to hell,he doesn't it is yourself that condemns you not god.

stop asking stupid questions.
you should brush up on your Greek and Hebrew, as the words used refer to mankind, like a man vs man conflict (man being any person). Amen is an adaptation from a Hebrew word.
all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but God redeems us through His Son. and God would condemn you to Hell if you reject Jesus. He'll forgive you if you repent, but that's still the "Hell sin".
once your saved, you leave sinful practices behind, and are therfore no longer a sinner.
