I laugh every time I see that one. Are some people are so impressed with themselves that they can't even imagine having an ape like ancestor?

First of all can we get the debate right! I hate hearing everyone say that they were not decended from Monkeys. That is absolutely Correct! We were decended from Apes! Get this right people. Monkeys were and are to simple. Apes were and are far more advanced. Take an Anthropology class or two would you.
Also the question,"I didn't come from no monkey!?" sounds to me like many other religious minded people as being ignorant, as most deeply into the religious are usually quite uneductaed, considering that the grammar is all wrong.
Leaving my answer as is ,I reread your question and find you were arguing for Evolution. And I agree with your, no more Monkey rants. Did I make any sense here? Please tell me. I love these dicussions.

Allow me to please add to your question.
What is evolution?
It's a theory based on the biological response to environmental changes and stimulation...With me so far?
Its a concept that takes several key pieces of evidence and extrapulates a THEORY.
Some primary points include.
Fossils discovered of human-like skulls with varying structural differences i.e. remarkably elongated jawbones.
Comparisons of dna between varying species in the animal kingdom - and the observance of a tree like pattern (see pseudogenes). Please do keep reading....
The assumption that this planet was at some point completely covered in water is a big variable in the overall theory. Observable changes in plants and smaller life forms.
At evolutions center is the idea that species pass "traits" to one another. In biology "traits" are a fundamental identifier that seperate species. Modern evolution theory is a combination of Natural Selection and Mendelian inheritance. It attempts to unify the two schools of thought into one unifying theory.
(Youre doing good - just a little more)
The theory of universal common descent proposes that all organisms on Earth are descended from a common ancestor or ancestral gene pool.
So when you say "evolution" you are actually remarking on quite a few theories that scientists use to create taxonomies and have a common structure by which to base experiments off of.
Still with me here?
Good cause this is the most important part...
Evolution is frequently misinterpreted as stating humans evolved from monkeys; based on this, some critics argue that monkeys should no longer exist. This misunderstands speciation, which frequently involves a subset of a population cladogenetically splitting off before speciating, rather than an entire species simply turning into a new one.
Additionally, biologists have never claimed that humans evolved from monkeys—only that humans and monkeys share a common ancestor, as do all organisms.
Clearly the study of man - earth - and all living things is a work in progress. I tend to feel like such a slow and methodical process of study is too much work for creationists. (In most cases at least.) They would prefer a solution to it all just given to them in a less than 500 words and just to quell any arguements - call it the unequivicable word of god.
Which is a cop out and does not serve the science community at all. Luckily we still do teach science in schools and sure some of our most precious discoveries are being banned by ignorant extremists - thankfully though the act of banning education is very limited to a small number of instances.
And I would give my life to protect our right to study in peace without fear of persecution from religous fundamentalists.

Of course not. God created humans in his own image and made monkeys and all living things too. Read the first few chapters of Genesis!

Good one! This theory evolved from racism. There is no evidence that the first man evolved from a monkey or an ape nor is there any evidence that the first white man evolved from a pig. The theory of evaluation is a fake and it should be made illegal.

The type of remarks you are referencing typically come from the mouths of the ignorant. I do not mean that as an insult to them. It just seems as though they have been misinformed and have no desire to change that. If they did it would ruin their own 'theories'.

You obviously don't understand the law of natural selection, or how to make an understandable argument. Email me using the private email thing it you think you can make a legitimate argument, I'll tell you exactly how we came from apes.

I love your take on the perpetual monkey question. I wouldn't count on not seeing it asked over and over and over ad naseum. Everybody who askes it thinks they are the first one.

I don't understand your argument, but this isn't really a question.
I am aware of the facts proving evolution.
