Depends on whom you ask for the numbers.

I know that in recent articles about problems facing hospitals along the border that are facing closing because of the financial drain that is placed upon hospitals because of them - it goes as high as 8 out of ever 10 births within that hospital - reason being that the come over the border in labor and it is against the law to not render medical treatment to someone in medical distress. It's a real problem along the border. I am all for rendering medical aid when needed - but also know the abuse that is going on and that whole towns now face not having any medical treatment in their town because the hospitals just plain can not afford to stay open because of the abuse by illegals. Maybe it is time to set up I.C.E agents in the emergency rooms along the border?

Considering that Hispanic births are more than 3 times that of any other race within the United States - safe to say way too many.

The "anchor baby" is a myth. A US citizen may not sponsor his/her parents until the child turns 21. INA 201(b). Furthermore, an alien who entered without inspection may not adjust status even through sponsorship by an immediate relative US citizen. INA 245(a). And if the alien proceeds abroad to pick up a visa based on an adult child's visa petition, that child is not a qualifying relative for the waiver of inadmissibility. INA 212(a)(9)(B)(v).

Myth. Myth. Myth.

INA = Immigration and Nationality Act

There is no way to know because we do not know how many illegals are in the country. End the citizenship right and the number becomes zero.

I have not seen a number for this group. One statistic I was surprised to discover is that over half are born to unwed mothers.
