Here is the full scripture. It's interesting that you didn't quote the part where Jesus said that He does the will of the Father. Jesus Christ said "I and my Father are One.." Meaning of one will and purpose. Therefore, the things that the Son does are perfectly in tune with what the Father would do in the same circumstances.
John 5:30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
By divine investiture of authority Jesus Christ carried out the will of the Father. And now He stands on the right hand of the Father with equal glory and power.
Do you know not that Jesus Christ was holy? But despite the fact that Jesus Christ was holy he showed mankind that according to the flesh he humbled himself before the Father, and witnessed to the Father that he would be obedient to him in keeping his commandments. In this way Jesus Christ set an example for us.

Address the entire verse.
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
Did ever in this verse Jesus say he was not God? He implied it, perhaps - but then, go on ahead to John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."
But wait, there's more -
John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 10:30-33 - "I and the Father are one."
John 20:28 - "Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
Nothing in here directly contradicts itself. Sometimes it might seem as if they imply otherwise, but with the right view, everything fits in perfectly.

Yes, because he is the Son of God. Jesus, as all the prophets, received his authority from God. Jesus is special in that he is the Only Begotten of the Father. He is the only one to have lead a perfect life. He is the only one to have atoned for our sins. He was the first one to be resurrected.
Because of all of this we believe in Jesus when he said that no one reaches God except through Jesus Christ himself. Jesus paid the price for all of our sins, God has given him the right to judge us at the final judgement. Those found full of faith in Jesus Christ will be shown mercy.

no. quite the opposite....
Jesus even referred to himself as the "I am"
God referred to Himself as the the "I am"
in Greek, the word parakletos (of the same kind/same essense) is used to describe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
also, ever notice how Jesus made statements like "Moses said, but I say...", and God backed him up saying "hear ye him"? Christ spoke with authority. God's authority.
try reading John 1, and look for minute details in the Gospels if you have the time. Jesus is the Word.

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Christ is saying that He obedient to His Father who sent Him.

No. He was saying that He (God the Son, the Second Person of the Most Holy and Blessed Trinity) was not the God the Father.

the bible has a huge amount of verses that are confusing in that sense, John 5:30 is one of those it's kinda hard to explain but he means he couldn't do it without God but at the same time he is God so without that part of him he wouldn't be able to do what he does

No He didn't say that, what He was saying was what He does is given to Him from the Father above, Jesus is our creator through the power of the Father, it's all in the Bible, read it...you can learn alot more from it than letting other people tell you their wacked opinions.

And the rest of the verse says? Jesus is God, and was telling the disciples that He did what the Father (Himself) did.
