Electricity wasn't invented, it was discovered. It is the nartural process by which energy is transferred via electrons. Edison discovered it.

Quoted from: http://www.codecheck.com/pp_elect.html:
For centuries electricity has been a challenge to scientists. They have long known that it exists, and have discovered how to generate it on a large scale, but find it difficult to explain exactly what electricity is.
Where did it all begin?
Around 600 BC Greeks found that by rubbing an 'electron' (a hard Fossilised resin that today is known as Amber) against a fur cloth, it would attract particles of straw. This strange effect remained a mystery for over 2000 years, until, around AD 1600, Dr William Gilbert investigated the reactions of amber and magnets and first recorded the word 'Electric' in a report on the theory of magnetism.
Gilbert's experiments led to a number of investigations by many pioneers in the development of electricity technology over the next 350 years

Electricity wasn't invented. It was discovered. Electricity has always been present in natural phenomena, like lightning. Electricity was harnessed by Benjamin Franklin and was made available to the general public by Thomas Edison.

Many devices have been invented that use electricity but electricity itself existed before humans did. It's existence has been know of by humans for perhaps thousands of years as some ancient structures resemble that of a capacitor, and electronic component used to temporarily store electricity. This is point is debatable though. Ben Franklin is given credit for showing that lightning is really electricity.

No one "invented" electricity. It is a naturally occurring phenomenon.
I believe that the Greeks were among the first to attempt to manipulate it. Their experiments were initially centered around Amber. Do a little research around that.

faradays law states that when ever magnetic lines of force cuts a closed path conductor an emf will induce and makes the electrons to flow through the conductor which is called current .so faraday discovered electricity

The creator of the universe did. We just use it.
If you're asking for who discovered it, the phenomenon has been recognized since ancient times (the Greeks and Babylonians recognized it in various phenomena) but our modern notion of electricity goes back to the 1700's.

nobody invented it unless you believe in God and stuff -- if you want to know who made run through wires and stuff -- A guy named Nikola Tesla tried it with DC (direct current) like in a battery because he thought it was safer and Thomas Edison did it with AC (alternating current) because it could travel better -- Edison's Idea won out and AC is the type that runs most electrical thing s we use today ..

No one invented it but many people discovered its properties.
Do an internet search on Ampere, Volta and Faraday.
