Why do you think our Creator made the sun, moon and stars or the universe in general?

Mankind is to say the least still in infancy, and we're just starting to reach for the stars. We are ever so arrogant to think
we are the only beings in this vast universe, and there could be
many billions if not zillions of other universes!!

There is evidence that certain ancient man made monuments
are formed in patterns of birds and animals, that can only be seen from space. Also there are acient ruins that many
archarologist belive to be maps that are only seen from airplanes
something like forgotten air strips, (don't forget stonehedge)

With these things in mind I don't think it is such a stretch of the
imagination , that the God that creates all things and has order
and balance in all things would not have sent us a message we
have yet to discover in the placing of the planets and the search
for the timeless question--WHY ARE WE HERE and WHAT IS
THE PURPOSE???

First off, you have to clarify by what you mean when you say creator. If you mean jesus, he did not create it nor is capable of such a thing. But he is capable of suffering just like me and you. To manifestation just like me and you. To claim divinity just like me and you. To die just like me and you. A prophet in islam none the less, but human.

Sorry for the preaching, but here is another example of what I mean. I don't know if you have ever heard of brahman, but he is very much existant. In hinduism, he is lord. Beyong gender. Even they have the trinity belief. And the whole cow thing, who cares? I eat beef, have a leather jacket and all. But what jesus has done has been done before. To the hindus, that is of the norm. Walking on water. Practicing magic. levetation. In india, people do it everyday. That is why masters are masters. And students are students. Humbly evolved/manifested. Now vishnu is what they call a reminder. A man none the less. Just like jesus. That is why they try and prove all day long that man is GOD. But who will listen?

Now to answer your question, our "creator" made the sun, moon, statrs, and the universe in general because GOD HIMSELF has HIS own covets. HAS his own sovereign thought. Why did HE create you? better yet, why did HE create the sun, moon, stars, and universe for you to enjoy. I guess THE GOD is not as mercifull as some say SHE is*sarcasm*. Of course GOD could have designed life a different way, but HE didn't. Like I said, SHE has HIS own covets. And if anybody tells you otherwise is a liar. Sincerely! And I am not talking about jesus here. But the creater of. You can say the father if you want, but I don't accept the christian theology "at all". Only for the sake of "it exists". I think he made this universe and other universes (if they exist) because he thought they were beautiful, just like we draw pictures. Then at some point he thought, in all his perfection "You know what would be really cool...what if there were others just like me (us) to experience this with. Just like a movie is always better with a friend. Then there is good and evil because love is pointless if there is no choice in the matter. We are free to choose him or the darkness, and to not only love him, but all the other people he created. He wanted a family and the universe is the beautiful Mansion he created for us all to live in. And who knows what else he made?

if i become a universe: my sunlight: could be my boyfriend, he's often there to embellish my day, to maintain me heat and to spend as lots time as he can with me. i won't be in a position to help yet gravitate in the direction of him. my moon: my mothers and fathers, they are there for me whilst i desire them, to embellish the night. they are my haven from the dark. my stars: my many and exquisite acquaintances. they make me smile, and that they are all captivating, and that they are continually there for me whilst i desire some employer, no count number how distant they are. the above might seem corny, yet whilst i become to be defined as a universe, thats the way it would be.

Well, we need the sun to survive. And the moon and stars are for times and seasons ( to know when to plant, etc.), but also I believe everything is just so at this just right time in this universe for us to survive. (the anthropic principle).

God's plan for us began way before He created any of that. We are His children. He created all of it for us. To give us a place to learn and to grow and to become perfect as Jesus commanded us to do.
