butter is not harmful to dogs but over a long period of time it WILL cause ur dog heart problems and clogged arteries and make him or her really fat

Butter contains derivatives from milk which at his age he should not be drinking anymore of and can develope a lactose intolorance of it. Also butter is high in fats which the dog is or should be provided all the neccessary fat in his diet. Feeding further fat will only create blockage in his arteries and cause stomach upset.

It is very very fattening. Plus you are going to create a picky eater. If you want to mix in something that is tasty and good for them, mix in salmon or fish oil and vitamin E. They love it and it excellent for their coats, skin, heart health, and joints.

too much can be dogs can get diabetes and cholesterol problems just like us instead of butter all the time try a bit of water down milk aor a tiny bit of cheese just mix it up a bit. but i might say he/she sounds a bit spoiled hehehehe

Why are you adding all these different things in his food. With the approiate food,,,,,,,,there is no REASON to add People Food. Go to your vet he has any kind of food that YOU should be feeding him already?? Take my advice,,,the better you feed and treat your pet,,,,the longer Healthier Lifestyle They will have. i don't know if it is harmful but it would make him very fat. try mixing in pouches of wet food if you have him on dry food. but only do it as a treat otherwise he might become picky with his food
