What do you think of Islam?
Islam is a religion about peace and tranquility. However, the incidents that took place on 9/11 and the war in Iraq have aroused many different and negative views about Islam. What are your views and what do you, as an individual, think of Islam?

Nope it isn't a religion of peace, and yes people are right when they say that not all Muslims are terrorists, they're not all terrorists, but still the Muslim men are are very violent, they cause fights, and violence against women. Also if you're gay (I'm not) and live in a Muslim country especially Iran, you'll be executed. I don't think Islam is a religion peace.

I deeply respect and appreciate Islam. I am sad at the view the world has on Islam since 9/11, but people really need to stop and realize that those acts were committed by radicals. Every religion has its fanatics, especially Christianity. I live in a Muslim country and I am amazed at how kind most people are here. True Islam is about peace, tolerance and living a decent life. More people should try to follow those principles.

Muslims insist it is a religion of peace but if you look into the history of Islam, you will find every region including Mecca and Medina was converted to Islam by force and war.
Many of you who say remember the Crusades, neglect to mention the primary cause of the Crusades was the harassment of European pilgrims en route to the Holy Land by local Muslims.

I think that it is a false religion that preaches hate. There might be some peaceful muslims, but they are not practicing the quran. It is very clear that they are to kill the unbelievers. It is a horrible book that contradicts itself so many times. We should all pray for the Muslims that they wake up and see the light. They are brainwashed that the bible is false, even though Mohammad tells them that it is true. There are bibles in existance from Mohammad's time that confirm that todays bible is true. If it was good enough for mohammad, why not them? Another example of them ignoring the quran. Just like the so called peaceful ones do when they say that the fanatics are not practicing islam.

Why do U asked ? U are only inviting the non Muslims, ex Muslims ( Murtad) and people who hated Islam and its worshippers, to criticise, insult, belittle, and instigate negative influence of Islam. Allah S.W.T. already mentioned in AlQuran nul Kareem :
To all non Muslims. U pray what U preach, and we (Muslims) pray what we ( Muslims) preach, we ( Muslims ) will not pray what U preach and U will not pray what we(Muslims) preach, U pray what U preach and we ( Muslims )pray what we ( Muslims) preach.

i don't like the islamic religion or its people. in my opinion they seem to be the most hypocritcal religion of all. it is a cult based on taking over the world. they want power they want to control and that is it in my opinion.

It is a relgion of peace well u haven't seen all muslim family;s im muslim and 13 and proud! i mean some family's are so decent its not even funny..they act so polite. The thing is that i dont get people they think we are mean and stuff we aren't thats some...SOME cristians are mean..some indian's are mean! well thats natural! and not all of us are terroists and most guys dont really like to fight its just the ones that want freedom george bush does nothing but make other countr's fight and hes just a racist person. I really dont care about him! I am muslim and im fair to everyone im nice to everyone i just dont say no to anyone i mean not all of us are like that...If any of you guys want to say that then go ahead!
