Homophobia is the dumbest word ever coined. Just because you don't approve of the act doesn't mean you're scared of gay people. It's not bigotry, it's taking a moral stand. Being gay is not the same as being black or something that doesn't involve a choice. Even if you believe you are born gay the choice to act on those impulses is still a choice. No one is forcing you to have sex with other men.
I absolutely do not believe that violence has any place here, I want to make that clear, and I do have friends who are gay, but I also have the right to believe that homosexual acts are morally wrong the same way I have the right to believe any sex outside of marriage is wrong. Please recognize there is a difference between fear and moral standards.

When he used the word "hate" it was public confirmation that he was a bigot, but he could have been a silent bigot. It is typically considered politically incorrect to admit to any type of bigoted ideal. Homophobic alone is a fear, saying that he hates gays took it way beyond just a fear.

No, bigottry is an attitude that doesn't require action. Personally I'd prefer all biggots to keep their ridiculous assumptions to themselves. It's politically incorrect because it's just plain wrong.

No one can be the "Thought Police"... You can have Your Own Opinion and Beliefs about whatever. But it's the People that Act on those Beliefs that are in the Wrong. Live and Let Live.

People who say that the comments are wrong or bigoted are the ones who are wrong. No one should impose their views on anyone else!
