Is Islam is acceptance, why have the Sunni and Shia been murdering each other for the last 800 or so years. Why was Islam spread by the sword and conquest?

actually racism is forbidden in Islam it says a white man is no greater than a black man or anyone one else but the one who is greater is the one who does better things i dont know where you got that from but in islam everyone is equal

Bilal was one of the Prophet's companions.
He was black and he was the one who would usually say the Azan (calling people it is prayer time) because the Prophet used to say he has the best voice. The Prophet banned racism and freed all slaves. Even after any war, he would free the war prisoners after they have taught 10 people how to read and write.
And I have to say I haven't heard of this book or the guy who has written it.
Nahj al-balagheh was written by Imam Ali (alaih salam) and it is more reliable than the others.

Shia and Sunni never fought like that. This is only after invasion of US they are fighting, you should better understand who is responsible..
However, killings between Catholic and other christian dinomination have been much more severe.

the 1st answerer is basically attempting to be stupid. How can muslims disagree with white ppl being muslim? Islam is a faith for each individual. those that do settle for this faith are stated as muslims. despite if muslims didnt like white ppl changing, what lots of a distinction might that have made whilst this is not a faith created via any human in any respect.
