i know their cars are lighter but dont they use alot of gas and spew alot of emissions from their cars?
the Indy 500 this year is going to have cars that uses alternative fuel that is less harmful to the enviroment, do you think NASCAR will ever do that?

The was a study once that found that all the gasoline that was used for the practices, testing, qualifying and racing of the Daytona 500 was no more fuel than what one NFL football team jet would consume flying from New York to LA.
Changing to Ethanol would be interesting, though. Perhaps, smaller engines without restrictor plates.

Yes, but not as much as politicians flying on private corporate jets lent to them by corporations. Also, not as much as celebrities and the wealthy's use of private jets.
