U are an atheist, yet U also interested in religious issue. Anyway why refer such question to the Muslims ? U should ask the Christians. Muslims prophet is our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W ( pbuh) not Jesus Christ ? However, there is no such statement in our holy book Alquran nul Kareem. May be in the Bible.

The Bible itself doesn't permit wine/drinking, so how can that story be accurate?
"Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging; and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." [Proverbs 20:1]
"And be not drunk with wine." [Ephesians 5:18]
That story about how Jesus turned water into wine isn't authentic from the Islamic perspective. Islam and Christianity have different beliefs concerning Jesus (peace be upon him). So I wouldn't compare such stories about these religions.

Peace be upon you!

I don't think Isa(PBUH*) ever drank wine nor turned water into wine. Then again I'm not really familar with the Muslim prophets much. I'm a revert and don't have their stories.

LOL at these answers...anyway, Muslims do not seem to accept any other parts from the Bible as authentic than those they can use for supporting their doctrines.

Great question. : )
