Jesus is a Spirit, there is no color to match, as in African American there is the shade tree- from light to dark, as in Caucasian there is the shade tree- from pale to pink to dark,
he is a Spirit use your imagination.

Jesus was born the the middle east, which at his time was not as culturally diverse as it is today. Also he was a jew, and it was alot more strict to not intermarry with non belivers back then than now. If you looked at a jewish person from that area today, and they were pure jew for many generations you would have a good idea. Churches and people often change his skin and hair color to match thiers so that they can assocoate with him more.

He was the color of the typical Jew of his time. It is reasonable to believe this. If he where a different color it would have been mentioned. If fact, the bible say that he was very ordinary looking. Like if he were around he wouldn't really be noticed. I believe he just looked like a Jewish guy. That seems to be the most reasonable belief.

He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

In His earthly life. He IS indeed Jewish....

His lineage is in the beginning of both Matt. and Luke.

He is a descendant of David.

The whole/main purpose that God had in making a blood covenant with Abraham was to bring His Son into the world.
Read Genesis from chapter 11 on.

I can't speak for COLOR, per se, but I can tell you that Jesus -- which is a LATIN translation of His Name, which should really be
Y'shua - Joshua in English - and it means SALVATION.

The tribe of Judah means PRAISE to God and David is also in the
line of Judah as well.

Read ps. 110. The Lord (God the Father) said to my Lord (JESUS).

It also says that Jesus came unto His own and His own received Him not....and I am sorry, but I can't look up the scrip. reference right at this moment.....

What I want to ask is -- beyond the fact that Y'shua, Who WAS born in BETHLEHEM -- House of Bread - of a Jewish virgin -- was and is indeed Jewish and a the Seed of Abraham, -- why does it MATTER what COLOR He is.....What matters is WHO He is and WHAT He did for each and every one of us on the cross..... I mean, if it just has to do with being POLITICALLY CORRECT in the name of "diversity" and whatever...None of THAT matters....

It is your ETERNAL SOUL that matters and the ONLY "colour" that God will see when you stand before Him one day is RED, as in the BLOOD of His Son shed to PAY FOR ALL OF YOUR SINS AND MINE.....

He said, WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU!!
Exodus 12:13.
That is the ONE verse that I am absolutely trust in for my eternity,

Religion, color, whatever....IT DOES NOT MATTER.....Not for us and not for God!!!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BLOOD!!!

The Messiah YAHOSHUA fit right in in the mid east of 2000 years ago. He must have had a very dark olive skin. Not Black, like African, but not at all light.

Ok.I've always been curious myself. He was Jewish so I'm thinking a 'peachy/flesh' color. But he lived in a hot climate so I'm also thinking he had a tan.A dark fleshy color?I've never met the man in the flesh but I bet he was quite dark. Not black, just dark.

Did Julia say it became right into somewhat """"mute"""" LOL. Thank goodness the lines between atheist mind and christian mind are patently defined. the colour of Jesus Christs epidermis only concerns to somebody who claims to have not have been given any perception in Him. Romans a million:28 God Bless

Brown/Tan-- since he was a jew and from Israel, he would have been middle-eastern looking - so brown/tan/olive skinned.

He certainly wan't blonde with blue eyes, nor was he black

Jesus lived in the middle east area. Therefore, he probably looked like a middle easterner.

Well, he was born in the Middle East, so that would probably make him (if he does exist), tan with dark hair and eyes.
