OMG- hair on the legs! I bet that's never happened before in the entire history of the human race.
That sure is a big problem. Hide in the closet- I'll let you know when it's safe to come out!

Hair on legs? Aren't we supposed to have hair on our legs?

If your mom is expressing her opinion on your legs, she should mind her own bloody business. Body hair is a personal issue and certainly a personal choice. In particular it is a sexual attractiveness issue, and your mother has absolutely no right to tell you what others will have for a preference. You can only please yourself, and maybe them later, once you have more input. I am horrifed that she would even speak to you on such a matter, without your asking. Does she check your underarm and pubes, too? Good gravy!

My own husband wouldn't dream of offering up his opinion on such a matter without my expressly asking, and my daughter is free to do whatever she wishes to her body, including tattooing, after a certain age, that is... It's the only thing we truly own.

And just for the record, I have only shaved certain areas of my body hair, including my legs, a few times in my entire life. My husband's perference is for hair, since I did in fact ask...

Why would that be a problem? We all have some hair there. We're mammals.
