IB talks a good talk about starting college with as much as 30 hours of credit BUT not every univeristy accepts those credits and some colleges within a university will not accept credits and some majors do not accept credits...so you get an IB certificate or diploma and the university of your choice accepts some subjects then the major of your choice does not accept the subjects you chose in HS to get certificates so you spent your last two years in HS working for a certificate or diploma that does not deliver what was described in the information sessions...there are a lot of variables not discussed in the information sessions...and the pass rate for diploma is 50% or the IB comm. will tell your school that too many are passing...do something about your program...lots not known about how IB really benefits
