Ok I watched this video, i admit I do not belive in God and dislike relgion because of how people don't think and just blindly do things and I dispise how they take small parts of information and change it's meaning. However, atheists do the same things. This is what I am trying not to do, so can someone who understands the bible explain to me why this video is mistaken, if it is (not including step 4 about blood of christ which even I can see is a grosse misinterpritation).

Oh MY GOD!!!!! Stop!! Do NOT take theological advise from a video on YouTube!!!!!! These guys obviously have no theological training. You would only take medical advice from someone who has had medical training, right?? Whether a doctor, nurse, acupuncturist, trained herbalist, nutritionist. Get my point? Ask a christian theologian your questions. NOT a priest/nun or preacher unless they have a HIGHER degree in theology from a catholic or Lutheran or state university. Trust me on this one. They will be able to give the bare-bones, point-by-point explanations you desire. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU GO TO FOR RELIGIOUS ANSWERS. Not all people actually know what they are talking about, no matter how strongly they seem to fee.

this was a very weak attack on jesus. at least you acknowledge how people can take the text of the bible and misuse it. the guy that compiled this did not take into consideration who the author was, whom jesus was talking to at that time, what his message was intended to be which can only be done by reading the whole chapter, not simply by taking a verse to disect, which anyone can do and many have done hence the numerous christian denominations. there are many mistakes to cover in this presentation, the best thing i can offer for you is to read the study course on salvationhistory.com. you may not like or agree with everything it contains but it atleast will help you understand the issue alot better and will also clarify the mistakes in the presentation for you.

I watched some of it. Very tedious. Are you the rich young ruler? If so, sell everything. Jesus knew what made people tick and money is what this guy loved. Once again gross misrep of what was written. You have to see the intent of what was said and not be so confused about a very simple message. But just to let you know, there are many people who do sell all. Most of them are missionaries. I terminated the video here because, well, it was boring.

hello... first of all, I don't need to see a Secular video to say that "they" might just be mistaken... Christ is a "title", like King, Queen, President etc... Religion is of man, like Roman Cath. Methodist, Luthern, Baptist, etc... Remember who Jesus was (is).... He's a young Hebrew Carpenter...born of a wonderful Jewish girl... He grew up in the Jewish Temples, learned in them and taught in them... followed all the Jewish triditions and was so radical and misunderstood... His own didn't understand Him. As a matter of fact... "they" hated Him for "telling it like it was" He took it to the street...opened up the "laws" and showed how "they" were all a bunch of hyprocrats !!! (...so you think you gotta problem with God)... It's not God.. it's our misinformed foolishness about Him... we have try'd to become like Him and surpass Him... relax... God will be there... so will religions, you can find out about him by learning how to communicate with Him.
How...? easy.... go to the local grocery store... at the check out counter, take a candy-bar off the rack... open it and eat it. The go an walk out... (without paying for it)...just when your hand picks up the candy bar you'll feel Gods Spirit speak to your heart and tell you...without a word...what you'r doing is WRONG. That is God speaking to you... now, as you exercise your Faith, you'll hear more and more and more from God... He can get thru because you've shut Him out... you have that power, and He will respect it... but there are some basic's like that, gravity and such that God will always talk with you... Shalom

I study the Bible....Everything is taken out of context...Have you ever read a book maybe a biography and taken out one sentence or phrase and based a whole thought on that thing? Without bothering to find out who it was written to? Or about the author(s)? Or what period of time was it written about and/or in?

That's basically what they've done here....they've taken things out of the Bible without finding out anything about the verses around it, or the book it's in....who was speaking and to whom were they speaking. If it was using factual language or an allegory? They were so busy trying to come up with an idea and a scripture that fit it.God is not an author of confusion. He is a God of love and Jesus said the only way to the Father is through Him.

If He's promised if you seek Him with all of your heart you will find Him. Keep seeking, I hope to one day welcome you into His family.

I will check it out.

The "video" also leaves some important scriptures out. And all is out of context. To answer #4, How could Jesus have meant eating His flesh and drinking His blood, as He was the one offering the "elements" ? He didn't die. The elements are representative of Jesus and what He did for us. This showed His coming death. But He returned to life.
1 Cor.11:23 clearly uses bread and wine as the elements to represent Jesus' death. We do this to remember Him. Jesus did the same. He didn't use flesh.

The video is right. WHAT? From a Christian????? Yes its right in saying that no one can EARN heaven. No one can. Jesus is the only one that can obtain heaven for you. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5. "By grace ye are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9. You cannot earn heaven. You can only call upon the mercy of God. e-mail me if you really want to know what the Bible says about being saved.

The biggest problem in this video's logic is that examples are taken from each of the versions of the Gospel to create a list that contradicts itself. According to the standard doctrine of Christianity, you must accept the gift of Christ as a sacrifice for your sins in order to gain admission to Heaven. This is the ultimate declaration of your faith.

The beautiful part about belife in God is that the relationship and teachings are between you and him. If you dont like the others of your faith you can seperate yourself from them. Your faith is between you and God. If you need more answers email me. I will be happy to explain any of the Christian belifs and teachings. I try to be nonpartial, and very logical. Im sorry I cant watch the video on this computer.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. The video was long. What you first have to realize is that when Jesus was being Questioned about these thing he was still in his human form. He hadn't been to the cross yet and so people were still living under the laws of the old testament. As far as selling everything. Jesus was speaking to a wealthy man at the time and Jesus knew what the one thing was that was holding back that one particular person. It can also hold back any one of us. That thing is Greed. We tend to hold on to the things of the world and whats mine is mine but truth be known, You can't take it with you when you leave this life.does that mean that everyone must sell everything? of course not!! If you commit your life to God then every thing you own is considered a Gift and a blessing and you are thank-full for this. The bible also teaches that it is OK to enjoy the fruit of your labour. We can have things and enjoy them. As far as loving your neighbour and respecting your parents! Again Jesus is telling us that we should. By stating that we should hate them he is telling us we should hate the sin-full lives they might be living and again commit our lives to god. We Should hate our sin-full lives and turn to god for advise. When we live a life for God it becomes Gods, "not ours".Now as far as eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus. As I stated earlier, Jesus had not yet gone to the cross. But he knew he would be!! At the last supper he broke bread with his disciples and said " This is my body" and poured wine and said " This is my blood" !!! He also said to eat and drink this in remembrance of him. At this time Jesus was going to the cross and he knew it. Even though his disciples didn't.The flesh and the blood of Christ are symbols of remembrance. Christ is also refer-ed to in scripture as " The Word" The scripture when read daily is refer-ed to as " The daily Bread" by Christians. When we are told to become like little Children. Jesus is telling us that Children have More Faith in their fathers than grownups do. If God is our Father than perhaps we should be more like Children in our faith and believe! This takes us to John 3:16. God did love the World so much that he gave Jesus as a sacrifice on the cross. The sacrifice wasn't for God. It was for US !! We are the ones who live sin-full lives and need the help. God has to keep his word when it comes to the law and if we all live under the law than we are all condemned to an eternity in hell. By having Jesus pay the price for us god provided a way out for everyone. After Jesus stepped up to the plate and took the keys to hell and the sting from death he took control of out fate. It's hard to get into heaven if you don't know the guy who holds all the keys and if he wont open the door for you then you don't get in.After Jesus died on the cross he didn't stay dead!! Now instead of living under the law we live under GRACE.

Pretty straight forward!!! We simply need to accept Jesus as the True Sacrifice he is.He came here with nothing! Asked for nothing! And left with nothing! and has made the biggest impact on mankind! He told nothing BUT the TRUTH. I find it amusing that people are always trying to disprove him but there are 2 books to the Bible. The Old Testament and The New Testament and the old one predicted the coming of the Savior of mankind and the new one told of the events that took place while he was here and predicted what will happen when he returns. along with 2 books we have 2 sets of rules. One set Before the Crucifixion and one set After!! Just keep in mind that Jesus was lived here for a while before the new rules took effect and many people spoke to him and asked Questions before his sacrifice took place ,And having to answer those Questions truthfully he would have to refer to old testament laws as he had not yet gone to the cross. It is Nice however to see all those non believing scoffers researching scripture. I hope they find the truth they are seeking and put the same effort into proving scripture as they now do by trying to lead people astray. Hope this helped. God Bless!
