Give your cat some hairball remedy like "Petromalt" that comes in tubes (like a toothpaste). Sammy may just have a bad case of hairball obstruction. Petromalt is easily obtained from ay pet store and costs about $8.00. If you have some Vaseline petroleum jelly at home, give Sammy some of that. Take about a half a spoonful on your finger and dab it directly into his mouth. Or, you can dab the jelly or hairball remedy on the top front of his paws - he'll automatically lick them. Give a couple of "doses" two hours apart. If Sammy is still vomiting tomorrow morning, you have to take him to the vet so that they can palpate if he does have some kind of obstruction... or verify if it is smething else. If you take Sammy to the vet early and the problem is caught at an early stage, it will not only save Sammy a great deal of discomfort if not his life, it will also save you a great deal of money in the long run. So, take him to the vet.

You can call your vet without actually going in. They will be glad to give you some info and to tell you if it could be serious or not. But my guess is that after 4 days you need to see a vet. Don't let the cat suffer. Ask the vet if he would take payments for his service. I'm sure he will. So the cat can be cared for and you can just make payments to him. Good luck.

I'm not so sure she is dieing, cats live until about 13 years or so. If she is only 8 then it is probably just a sickness, watch for a couple days and if she continues to throw up then try to take her to the vet. She needs to go to the vet in the next few days if this continues because the vet will tell you if it is dieing or if its just a sickness and will give you medicine for the sickness. Hope this helps you out.

That happened to my cat ( now 17 ) a few years ago and what it turned out to be in my case was that I had started using those Clorox Drop-In tablets that you put into the back of the toilet and he of course is a toilet drinker if you leave the lid up and he was getting a strong enough dose of bleach to make him sick but not enough to show up on the blood work that the vet did. So be on the lookout for anything at all that he could be getting into that would make him sick. If he's an outside cat there's an unlimited amount of things he can get into. Antifreeze is possibility since it has a sweet smell and taste so dogs and cats. Keep us posted!

Cats are not old at age 8!! I think you should find some money and get to the vet - some will let you pay in installments.

Any cat can throw up sometimes but repeatedly throwing up for four days is too long, you should see a vet.

this cat really really needs to see a vet it could be a blockage which is very very painful or anything how would you feel if you were throwing up for 4 days and no one did anything for you? it doesn't sound too nice does it?

I know u said u cant afford it, but the best thing to do is to take her to the vet before things get worse, and they most definetly will. Talk to ur vet and make a payment plan or post date a few checks, most vets are willling to help you.

Casey you need to take her in immediately cats do not vomit what they eat unless there's a problem... if you really love your cat take her in it probably wont be that much and you can make a huge difference in this cats life so she can eat and hold her food down
