This can be linked to your question of quiet/loud voices cant it? If you listen properly half the time you dont NEED to talk, but if you are impatient (as loud voices often are) to get their opinions across well..no point in listening at all innit

It depends on the topic
If I know something about it and I have something to say I usually can't wait till its my turn but if its something I'm not really interested in then I will just listen or at least pretend I'm listening

Wow...I was thinking what do I do after I saw this question and I realized I'm the one that waits for my turn to talk. I mean I listen, but I'm a very opinionated person. So I wait for my turn to talk.

I've noticed that extroverts are better talkers and introverts are better listeners. There is room for both in this world, 'cause there aren't too many things more annoying than not being able to get a word in edgewise or having to bear awkward silences and a companion who doesn't answer. I'm an extrovert by the way...

It depends on the conversation, if it is a subject i am interested in but dont know much about, i tend to just listen, but if its something i know about I wait patiently until the other person has finished, then i put my views across.

That is a really good point. I am a listener 99% of the time..and I really hate it when you are talking to someone and you can tell by their expression they're just thinking of what they're gonna say next! Their eyes are glazed while they wait to get in with their penny's worth!

I try always to listen. However, some people have nothing to say. They talk and talk about things that don't amount to anything. For instance, I could care less what Hollywood has done or said or anyone in Hollywood. And this group of people is in small talk wherever one goes.

i have been told i am a good listener. and no, i don't just wait for my turn to talk, when they are finished saying what they are saying, they wait for my response. it works both ways sometimes too though.

I must be honest, sometimes I am listening and learning, at other times, I am waiting my turn to speak!
In the worst times, I am listening, being bored and thinking of other things to occupy my mind.

a sturdy communique is in elementary words accessible if there's a proper equation between listening and conversing upon the challenge. i have self assurance, till and till you've the staying power of listening to what the subsequent human being needs to particular, you cant ever talk real upto the finished expectancies . Its more desirable sensible to hearken to first and then to imagine upon what to assert and a thanks to assert i.e., finding out the factors to speak in accordance to its value and intensely last yet no longer the least to particular them real.. Dont Interupt even as others talk chuffed Weekends !!
