Ok there is this guy and we've been friends for since we were five and i should add i'm still in high school so i know he likes me because he's told me and i kkndof like him to but he can be very imature especially in public and i only feel like i know him when we're alone for example we where having an online conversation and my other friend she doesn't really like him but i showed her the conversation between the two of us and she asked me who wrote it and when i told her it was him she didn't beleave me because he was the axact opposite of who he is in public anyhow i sort of like back but i don't know if things will change and i'm scared if we go out and breack up i'll lose him as a friend even though he ells me it will never happen how do i let him down easy or get him to act real like i see him all the time instead of just when its only us istead of like a perv.

Every guy is different. Meet different guys and hopefully some guys aren't looking for a relationship with you. If your extremely hot, then good luck finding one. LOL.
Find guys that already have a girlfriend. They can be your guy friend as long as they don't hit on you. Don't get too close to them.
Warning! Girlfriend might get jealous.
Maybe meet people online? This way they can't actually date you.

He is showing off in public and not being real. Tell him if you want it to work between the both of us than you have to stop acting immature in public act how you are like when were by ourselves and if you cant well than we can only be friends b/c I cant deal with being embarrest in public and dont want to be around someone acting immature.lol
