talk to them about it
tell them what you're feeling
and then see if there's a way you can work it out so that you see both parents equally

Hi Elizabeth.
Your mum and dad are going through a phase, and you feel a little left out. This is quite normal for you to feel this way, because the truth is you are being left out.
Like all human beings when we have anything new ,we forget what we already had before.
Normally this does wear off and we do pay attention to the things we already have.
Be patient and don't get to upset about what is going on, your parents need to know how you feel.
Go and talk to your dad and explain you understand that he has a relationship with his new partner, but you're missing the relationship you should have with him.
Sometimes we have to act like the parent to remind them of what they are neglecting to do.
I'm sure they are'nt doing it to upset you, they are so wrapped up in there new world they have forgotten what other things are important.
You need to remind them that you are still there daughter and alittle time spent with you is all you ask.You should also tell your mother the same thing as she is guilty of this aswell, not just your dad.
Once you have spoke to them i'm sure they will realise that they have neglected to include you in there life, and will start to include you in there new one.
Chin up,head up and keep looking forward and you will soon benefit from your mature attitude to what sometimes can be a difficult situation. GOOD LUCK.

I'm very sorry for u.I'm a mother and i can tell u that you are the most valuable in Ur parents' life but what is happening now is normal cause everyone try to prove to himself he is desirable and to prove to the other part that he is a loser.
it is a temporary imbalance but will not last long.

Have you tried to tell them how alienated you feel? I had a friend in high school who felt like she didn't belong anywhere once her parents started new families. I would try to talk to them about how this makes you feel. They do need to know. Give them a chance to make it right to you.

So sorry to hear that. Talk to them as they might not realise how you are feeling. Hope things get better for you.
