No I don't, I love French wines, which by the way includes champagne the drink of celebration, real champagne is exclusive to France. I don't think there are many wines that have the richness that French wines have. At the same time I love
Rioja from Spain. Also found an e xcellent champagne from Washington State!! But for me French winnes are the b est in the world, even a bad French wine is good to me. Ce la vie.

For the most part, yes, I agree but they've been making wine for so long people still consider it to be the standard. That's not to say that some French wines aren't great, because there are some, but for the most part, they need some work. For me, personally, if I have a choice, I'm going to take a Canadian wine over anything else.

Not at all. It can be quite overpriced here in the US, but a good French wine is awesome.
I RARELY buy French wine here in the US - a $50 bottle of Grand Cru can be had for around 10-15 Euro in France. Just doesn't seem right.

French Wine is so overrated because they think they have the monopoly. Australian and south american red wines are better. And, in fact, british sparkling wine has topped the "champagne" list for quite some time now

I think anything French is overrated. French Kiss, French Fries, French Bread.. ALL OVERRATED!!! Now Spanish wine..its more geniune, sensual, and magnific.

No I love the old world style wines. It's the huge fruit bombs from Australia and other new world wine regions I feel are over rated. I don't care for a wine that jumps up and down in the glass and screams "look at me, look at me. Watch this. Blah, blah, blah."

I never tried good French wine as I can not afford it. Yet I am worried the impact on wine taste and safety by CHEMTRAILS operations that add huge amounts of aluminium, barium, strontium etc. into the soils and thus the grapes that wine is made from.

Not over-rated (a good Burgundy is almost impossible to beat!), just over-priced outside of France. My 'favs' are Riojas (Spain) and better Chiantis... but South America is producing some excellent product!!!
