if anyone can provide the number of jobs which the new supper hwy will provide that would be helpful too ???

.... i was watching a video provided by an anti-immigrant and was really surpriced by this huge project , to me it seem like it will have the impact which the railroads had in the past in America . so i was wondering if is known the number of jobs it will produce ???

Well it depends, its not for sure that thats what the plan is yet from what I can see its what we're heading towards.

From what advocates have said basicly they want to do with north america what europe has done with the European Union. They say if we spent 10% of what the EU spends on there poorest territory (for s this would be mexico) we could stimulate their economy enough to make them a viable business partner.
Basicly the 8corridore highway is not to create jobs or relieve traffic but to make transport easier. They want to flood mexico witha bunch of money and try to americanize their business model so that ina generation or two they can be as successfull as america. This is like expanding our empire but without having to war or conquer anything.

Also, it has benefits militarily because we can just strengthen the navy and have the continent surrounded by a naval fleet and have to worry less about the borders etc.. so bascily its easier to protect. also, some would believe that it would increase the power of the US by bringing value back to our dollar which has lost 30% in the last year or two) and streamlining both canada and mexico to also use dollars as their international currency. There has even been talk of a new consolidated currency called the "Amero" but not sure if that is actually being looked at or not.

I think this is a terrible idea and that its just another step to make america and its consittution mean even less by establishing a new North American Union Council which will basicly have poer over and above the US government.

Bad idea, if this ever shows up ona ballot vote no.

Ok gamey, I will answer your question:

a union between Mexico , the USA and Canada is not only possible, but also it's the only sound solution to the immigration problem.

The difference of wages is less than when some East European countries have with Western Europe, it's just a matter of investing in Mexico to increase the wages to a north american level.

Yes, it seemed crazy to me at first too. But, the alliance was made possible since Conservatives have been elected in Mexico, Canada and the US. The only economic reason I understand is the oil. Canada & Mexico are currently our largest suppliers. I was a bit surprised by that. The pro-NAU say a common currency will help "stabilize economies". Funny both the President here and in Mexico were elected after contested elections. Don't know about Canada but I can't believe they're happy.

I don't like it-why is it such a secret???

For the great thing about those who do not follow your link, the substance of the information tale is Obama's appointment of Ron Kirk as commerce chief. The appointment of Ron Kirk is SURREAL even as taken which contain Obama's marketing campaign delivers about NAFTA and many times about recuperating the lives of conventional human beings. If that appointment isn't adequate to cajole those who Obama is a CON, no longer something will be. They (Obama and his handlers and insiders) have become so conceited they are not even pretending to be on the fringe of the uncomplicated human beings any more desirable - as further and further appointments are made that obviously instruct the status quo will proceed ON ALL FRONTS. to respond to your question .... the Obama administration will follow an identical direction because the Bush administration because they answer to an identical masters - the banksters and the corporate elite. to save u . s . a ., human beings ought to awaken in time for 2012 to vote in structure-pleasant politicians. it might want to already be too overdue. Can middle type u . s . a . live to inform the tale yet another 4 years of the status quo? possibly yet its questionable. Can middle type u . s . a . live to inform the tale yet another 8 YEARS of the status quo. truly no longer.

Sadly I agree that at this time it is not possible to unite them and keep up with America's way of life. I know that Mexico's economy is horrible, and that Canada's may be better than America's. So we need to come up with a better solution. If America wants to make things fair they need to either build a wall on the Canadian border and become the next Cuba where we trade with no one, that combined with the "wall" they are going to build at the US/Mex border. or we can realize that the US immigration laws are unjust when it comes to only allowing the rich into the US and therefore insulting the rest of the world. I am a firm believer that we can make it work, make illegal immigration disappear, over time, and over many many changes....but we need to start with the prejudice.
