The bible is very clear that now is the time of salvation. Once you die there is no more offer to get right with God. You will be lost forever. Is this not worth serious thought? God so loved you that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not "perish" but have everlasting life. John 3:16. I challenge you because I care about you.

Such caring is worthy.
If all could see the Love of Christ how simple this conversation would be

What it you're wrong about Attis offer of salvation?
What about Dionysus offer?
What about Vishnu's offer of salvation?
And the other offers from all the others who'd died for the sin of humankind and offer equally valid everlasting life?

Is this not worth serious thought? There was not a single part of Jesus's story that wasn't done before, it's completely plagarized. Wouldn't the original Jesus characters (like Attis or Osiris) be worth serious consideration since they say the same thing in their books? If you die and you're faced with Shiva, or Hades, what then? Isn't that worth consideration?

By believing in one out of the thousands of gods that could possibly exist in human history, the odds of yours being the right one is at least 10,000 to 1 against. All of these religions are very clear in that they're the only means of salvation.

What if I'm wrong? What if you're wrong about Jojo under the mountain? Do you want to be lost forever?

He is not real. Think about this, what do you call a person on the street today talking to God? I'd call him crazy, and some are named John, Paul, Etc.... But for some reason the people who were speaking to God 2,000 years ago and writing the Bible are not crazy to you. So in all reality, you should be listening to every single crazy person on the street because you actually believe they speak to God. If you believe that the Bible is the word of God and you know it was written by people then I'm right. Religion is a way to control weak people who cannot do the right thing otherwise. Without religion people would not be scared of God so they would not care about killing and robbing people. That is the only reason Constantin legalized Christianity.

Because if the bible is true, given the way god acts in the bible and given the evidence of how he acts since the time of Jesus, he is not worthy of my worship.

If Adolf Hitler said you could become a Nazi and worship him or else you would be tortured - would you do it? Why would it be different with a god who wiped out cities without a thought towards the innocents whose only crime was being born there? With a god who flooded the earth because his creation wasn't turning out like he wanted? Who sent and continues to send plagues which torture and kill millions? And who threatens you with torture if you don't worship him?

Have the courage to stand up for ways that are right, not for ways that are mysterious.

I don't particularly care what your book of fairy tales says. The Quar'an says the same exact thing about Islam. So does the Torah about Judaism. And so on ad infinitum.

If I'm wrong, then there will be some sort of deity waiting for me at death...not nessecarily yours either. Whoever it is, I'm pretty sure I'd have some blistering questions for it to answer!

Christian, what if you are wrong in rejecting Cthulu's offer? Or Zeus'? Or Hashem's? Or [name of deity here]?

I've never met a non-Christian whose faith was dependent upon Pascal's Wager. That question periodically is raised by Christians, though.. and I have to wonder.. is their faith so very weak?

FYI #1: Re: John 3:16... Hashem had many sons: King David was his begotten son, and Solomon and Israel were also special sons. If this "John" messed THAT basic knowledge up, what else did he miss?

FYI #2: Non-Christians have no interest in this "salvation" stuff, as it is irrelevent to our beliefs.

Pascal's Wager again? Hasn't he been dead for centuries already?

You know, if _you're_ wrong about this god/jesus thing, you're gonna feel pretty silly when you show up at the Pearly Gates only to discover that Mumbo Jumbo God of the Congo was in charge all along.

What if? What if the Islamic deity is true? You're going to join me in Hell?

How about a Pagan deity? I'm alright anyways... providing we're talking about the kind proposed by Neo-Pagans.

As to your offer, you should think about the rationality of putting a deadline on "forgiveness"...

If you cared, you'd consider the thought that this image of God is made up and very anti-God. But because you only care about your own ego and its attachment to the beliefs you have, you would NEVER reconsider. And therefore you're here ONLY to reinforce your own belief system and your identity.

I would out argue God upon my death and show him what a moron he is if he can't even create beings that automatically worship him if that is what he really wants and he would cry and apologize for being a dumbass to everyone and causing all the suffering as the result of his "obedient minions."

Ho hum, what if I'm wrong. I was able to live m life free of fear. I was able to live free of the arbitrary impossible to meet standards of a being described as jealous, angry and vengeful. I was able to keep all the money I earn and not give it to predators who prey on your blind faith, to give that money to charities that actually help others with out preaching to them. If you are wrong you wasted many years of your life preaching, praying, and believing in a false god.
