yea thats what i was thinking that if these people are supposed to be here to help me then why are they so worried about the money...did take him to vet they wouldnt even allow him in the place without the money...local animal shelters dont deal with sick pets...and this is the only emergency care place for at least an hour to 2 hours
thank you for all the well wishes and i am praying for him...
for those of you that are preaching to me about being able to take the responsibility for the animal go fork yourselves...i take responsibility for my animals they have all their shots and go in for 2 times a year check ups...this is a freak thing and unfortunatly theres not much i can do without having that large amount of money...and wuite frankly i dont know many people that do have that laying around

You need to get on the phone and start calling other vets. Or call your vets emergency line and demand attention now. Sounds like the dog might have gotten into poison(mouse, rat). It will cause the dog to vomit blood, the blood will eventually start coming out of the pets nose, eyes, ears until the animal dies and slow painful death.
The faster you get Vitamin K started, the better the chance of the animal surviving.

Yes people who say phone every vet you can, that's a very good idea... If you keep phoning different vets and telling them you have an emergency, someone should be able to help! Try looking online to find out in another city nearby has an animal urgent care clinic that doesn't have such a huge deposit or that might help you without money if your local one won't.
Do you think your puppy might have eaten something? If you do, especially if you know what it was, you can always phone poison control, pretend it's a person who ate it, and then ask them what to do. I've actually done that before for my cat. People and dogs and cats have very bodies... They'll ask for details about your name and situation so make something up in advance because they probably won't give advice about dogs... You can pretend it's a kid you're babysitting. They might tell you to go to the ER (not possible), but they will also tell you if there's any possible first aid you can initiate immediately to help.

Are you for real? Are you stuck on an elevator in a building with all the power is out, too? It sounds like you're making up reasons not to go. Here are a few options: 1. Charge your cell phone 2. E-mail the vet and the taxi company! You obviously have Internet access 3. Walk to the convenience store and call a taxi 4. Go to the neighbor's and borrow their phone 5. Ask your neighbor for a lift to the vet's 6. Call a vet that will visit your home (though I don't know if they'll do it in an emergency)

If you care about this puppy get him to the nearest vet that is if he makes it that long. He may have distempher (not sure if that is spelled correctly), but this is very serious and if you took on the responsibility of a puppy then you should provide the care needed. Surely the urgent care facility will let you work something out with them. Go ahead and take the puppy up there and demand that the vet see you and worry about the money part later and then make a payment schedule and pay it.

i wouldn't worry about the money part now. i would more worry about my puppy.even if that means taking to the place where u would have to pay the 1,000 dollars. i know i would do it just for my puppies health. if u would really care u would take him to that place now!!! how long has this been going on. ur dog may not make past the weekend if he keeps on vomiting up blood. so i would get him some where quick! if u don't want to take him to that place then take him somewhere else and tell them it is an emergency and that he is vomiting up blood. they may tell u to bring him in then. if a dog losses to much blood they can die. since they lost so much blood, that makes them so weak that they don't do anything at all. they just lay there. like their dead but their not. i know this cuz my grandma's dog got sick really bad and she didn't want to take him to the vet to put him down. he lasted for about 2 days after he got sick then he died. which she should've taken him to the vet to have him put down. if they tell u that u have to put ur dog down which i hope u don't have to that is sad if u have to. sounds like he got into something that can be harmful to dogs or anybody.
well good luck and hope ur dog feels better soon!

Definitely get your pup to a vet ASAP. Vomitting blood is never a good thing. There are several reasons why dogs will vomit blood..they could have swallowed something that has torn the lining of their esophageous, they could have eaten something that is eating the lining of their stomach, or they could be terribly sick. Call around to find an emergency vet clinic. Best advice would be not to wait until Tuesday. If your vet knows that yoru pup is vomitting blood and still won't see it until Tuesday....find another vet.
Best of luck to you and God Bless.

This puppy needs to get seen NOW! If that vet won't see him without a deposit and you have told them what is going on they are wrong.... Call another vet, call a local shelter or animal rescue and see if they know who will help you, call animal control, call someone and get him to the vet. This is very serious!

Honostly, this sounds like you really need to take him somewhere right now! It sounds like you really love your animal and unfortunately don't have the money right now... This might come across the wrong way but maybe take him to the local SPCA and surrender him over. Yes, this means that you won't be able to keep the puppy but it might be the only thing to save his life. Your SPCA will take him in and try everything to save him. Most SPCAs will not euthanize because of space and will work all their powers to rescue him. You can find a list of local shelters to call... Since you don't have the money and you can't pay the $1000 or charge on your credit card, please take it to a shelter to give it a chance so it won't die. I will pray for this puppy...

Never herd of $1000.00 dep. that's crazy! I would take him to an animal hospital the exam should not be over $150.00 you should be able to come up with that some how! if not you should have been prepared for emergency's that's why people get mad about dog owners not ready for the responsibility of a pet. Good luck,

Most palces will let you work out a payment plan to pay for the vet bills. Call back and ask them and take that puppy! You will feel a lot worse if you have a dead puppy in your house than if you are out $1,000.
