If he sneezes a lot it might be a cold plenty of rest is needed. You can give him one advil everyday and sometimes when my dog is sick i take vicks and mix it in honey and shove it down his throat, my dog, i dont have a problem giving it to him because he likes it, but if your cats are like mine good luck there so picky! This usually indicates they have a fever. However, you can take your cat's temperature to see. This still should not replace taking the cat to the vet. First of all, does the cat act like it feels bad? Get a regular thermometer (I wouldn't suggest the old mercury kind), the digital ones; place a small amount of vasaline on the tip of it. Hold your cat in your lap, lift it's tail and gently slide the tip of the thermometer in the cat's rectum. You do not have to go in far at all. Maybe just 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. The cat's temperature should be around 100 to 101.5. Some say that 102 is on the high end of normal. Anything higher than that, definitely needs vet care. You should take the kitty for a check up just in case, even if the temp is normal. If the kitty is eating and drinking okay, then it shoudn't be getting dehydrated. If it is not eating and drinking okay, this could be lethal. Touch the cat's gums. They should be "slick" and wet. If they feel tacky and pasty, then the cat is dehydrated. Good Luck.

The cat could have fever and that is why her skin is hot. You should take her to the vet. The Humane Society is not expensive and they are good. I use to take my Mickey there, and they were great with him. A fever could be many things from an infection to a reaction of something she ate.

How's her appetite? Appetite is a big indicator of sickness. My cat will be 18 years old this coming July and his nose will be wet one day, dry the next. It's usually drier in the colder months. His whole body stays very warm but he gets a clean bill of health every year.

if you can take her temp then I would (rectally) do not insert the thermometer more than 1/2 an inch. if it is more than 102 then she most likely has a fever and should be seen by a vet. if you don't think you can do that then don't and just leave her alone, she how she acts tonight and call a vet tomorrow if she still feels or acts funny

If she's eating then give it a day no more, however if the condition continues take her to the vet asap..
sounds like you are catching this at the right time and can stop it fast before anything else gets worse
hope it helps!!

Don't worry. My cat got that yesterday at the vet. That happens to cats when they are nervous. That is only serious if it happens to a dog. If she starts acting like she is sick like not eating her food or meowing mournfully, then she probably has a little fever or maybe a flu. If she bites, her mouth starts to foam, and her eyes dilate, that is rabies and you need to put her down.

your kitty may have a fever and that usually signals some kind of infection. Best take kitty to the vet to find out why he has a temperature.

You need to take her to the vet, now. If she is acting sick plus has these symptoms, please invest in her health by taking her for an exam.
Good luck!
