There is no free version of Nero I'm afraid. You may get a demo version which will expire in a certain amount of days. Unless you know of a way to stop that, if you know what I mean.

You may not be able to get nero, but if you go to www.softpedia.com you will have a choice of many good cd burning programs that are free, and more that are just a pittance. I have downloaded Lavalys Everest and CCleaner from there for free (Not burning programs, I'm afraid. I got Nero 6 with my last drive purchase for free in the bundle.) and they are both very good and very helpful. I'm sure you can find something to fit your needs.
