Everything was going good, as far as I was concerned. Maybe I was going too fast but I thought we had an understanding of where we were. The next night, all was over.
Would a girl let you sleep in her bed and sleep in yours (only mild making out) if she wasn't interested in you? Could the making out too soon have pushed her away? When she said Let's be friend's.. is it REALLY over or might there be a chance to recover?

Since that night when she said let's be friends'.. we ran into each other 5 days later. I attempted no contact in between. She said she was going to email.. I told her I was going to call to go for coffee. we were both going out of town to diff places and agreed to go for coffee when we were back.. maybe do something else too. I feel like I'm getting mixed messages. If she wanted to be friends, wouldn't she wait because she must know that I would find it difficult to be friends so soon after just ending what was starting.

I just find it so confusing how it went from so good to so bad in the matter of 1 day.

jr_babe .. i hope you're right, but I wish I knew the answer to 'how long it would take' and if it would work. she'll be home soon. It will kill me, but I think she has to be the one to contact me this time. I've put myself out there a lot with her. She knows where I stand.
I don't want to play games and try to make her jealous though, not that I think it will work.

Gilligan, I did think of what you wrote. She's definitely not 'easy' and that has attracted me more to her. That I'm fine with, I can wait until she's ready. Communication however, imo, is not her strong point. She communicated with me.. when it was at the point of no return.

Poppy, right now, she's the only one.. I can't give up until I know for sure all is lost. I agree, I think she is confused.. how much, not certain.

The best thing to do is dont get in touch with her and act as if you are not bothered with her and she will be all over you.

She might just be confused about how she feels. She does seem to be giving you mixed messages but maybe she just needs a little time to think about things. Don't 100% bank on her coming around to you and her... but dont let it go either.... she may just be thinking.

But whatever you do... dont wait foreva for her. At the end of the day if you meet someone else then go for it. It would then be her own fault if she missed out on a realtionship with you if she didn't make it clear how she felt.

hope this helps

Don't dwell on it. Yes she must have like you as you say she's not easy. She may be having difficulty coping with her feelings, she may even regret taking the relationship that far, but that is not your fault.
If she wants to be friends then you have to leave it like that for the time being I'm afraid.

lets be friends is a mild way of saying dude i am not into you. be friends something could blossom later but in the meantime have some fun and meet others and date. if you were going at a fast pace she would have told you to slow down(if she was really into you)
good luck.

Don't waste any more time or thoughts on her, she is clearly confused.
'Let's be friends' is normally a polite way of saying 'I don't fancy you but don't want to hurt you'
There are plenty of girls out there who won't play games and screw your head up!
