I've probably broken 3 or 4 of them. The point is you have to ask God for forgiveness and turn away from sinned.

The 10 Commandments are found in the Bible's Old Testament at Exodus, Chapter 20. They were given directly by God to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt:

"And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbour's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

All of them.

According to Jesus, what's in the heart matters just as much.

I've never slept with a married woman, but I've lusted after a girl I wasn't married to. You have too, I'd assume.

As for killing? No, but there was once someone I hated.

So, in my heart, I've broken all of them.

It is a sin if you even think about it..so I have totally failed the law. That is why it is a great deal for me that Jesus made the way for me. Of course when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we want to do good, but luckily our salvation is not about our deeds. : )

I have lied, stolen (dosent matter how small) hated, been jealous,

I mean the list goes on and on. We ALL have not met up to Gods standereds. THATS why we need Him sooooo much to forgive us our sins, cause the wages of sin is death man.....

BUT the gift of God (Jesus Christ the savior of sins) is life!!!!

All. The book of James says if you've offended in one point you've offended all. ps to those who sais they've never murdered, Jesus says hating your brother is murder.
