Yes, the majority of Americans voted in November to end the Iraq war. But the troops haven't been pulled out yet, so therefore it's STILL a no. However, what we can do about this is take it to the streets - I vote for marching with the rest of the nation on the 4th anniversary of the start of the illegal Iraq war, on Saturday, March 17, 2007. Hundreds of thousands of people as well as celebrities will converge from all over the nation to send the unifying message: bring all of our troops home now! Let's re-double our efforts to put a stop to this madness. I'll be there. Won't you?

The troops will be pulled out of Iraq in 2010. He stated in the marketing campaign that he might want to withdraw the troops in 16 months. He replaced that to 19 months because he stated it really is more desirable doable that way.

Pulling out now would not resolve anything.
To Jean the first person to answer, 100% of our tax dollars are not going to the Iraq war effort are you crazy. We need to spend it on more sensible things like global warming and the bird flu and all that other liberal crap.

Congress DID NOT VOTE TO PULL OUT OF IRAQ. Congress made a nonbinding resolution to tell the idiot in the white house that we were sick and tired of sending 100% of our tax dollars to crooked contractors and unending streams of military personnel to walk and drive up and down streets in Baghdad getting blown to pieces and we want the Iraqi people and other nations in the Middle East to step up to the plate and do what is right.

don't you people ever pay attention to anything.

We cannot leave Iraq. I don't want to watch a wholesale slaughter of innocent people. We have a winning record of making countries successful that we were once at war with. Look at Japan today, look at Germany today, look at Italy today. They are rich and peaceful countries. We have to remain steadfast and make Iraq a success.

most people seem to want to pull them out of iraq. it's not really about the politics in iraq, but about the oil. if it dried up tomorrow we would be out of there as fast as we could.

with the troops out, there will be problems,
but at least young people will not be slaughtered for a lost
cause. Bush and his poodle will go down in history
as the villains not Saddam.
