My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years...we have broken up a lot and been on again off again...my best guy friend has stood by me through this all...he always understands when we get back together and always consoles me when we break up...well he came home from the Marines and told me he was in love with me....and that he wants me to leave my boyfriend for him....I love him too...but I'm so comfortable with my boyfriend, and he loves me and I dont' want to hurt ANYONE! So who would you pick? Let me know!

no matter who you choose one is going to be hurt and your boyfriend will be upset. listen to your heart. do you truly love your boyfriend? is your love for your friend real or gratitude or even feel responsible somehow? reason through your thoughts before making your decision. but be warned: this wont be easy so think carefully and be gentle. i wish you the best of luck in this.

I would pick the friend... You need to get a grip on reality because u and ur boyfriend are not inlove.. U have broke up alot soo obviously ur not happy or inlove.. When ur inlove u dont break up with the person like 10 times ur supposed to stay with them.. I would go for the friend and get over ur stupid loser of a boyfriend.

You said you love the guy from the marines - and he has been there for you when you needed him. staying with your boyfriend to prevent him from being hurt is not a good reason to stay with him - it's going to cause problems in the long term - and you are holding him, the guy from the marines and yourself up.

ummm...ur probably comfortable with ur b/f right now but i dont think ur happy, cuz u wouldnt have broken up in the first place, correct? so i say u just leave ur man and go for the marine, hes been there for u as a frend and now he wants to be there as ur man, so let him.
