Kinda ironic... a girl was in the news and has had non stop hiccups for days. Noone can figure out how to get hers to stop... BUT Usually what I do is take a deep breath and hold it as deep as possible. If I do it over and over it goes away. If that doesn't work then try to keep your mind on something else. Maybe put on a movie you really get into and drink some water.

Okay, I need you to think really hard, and tell me before you are going to hiccup. Think about it really hard. Focus. Close your eyes. Say "now" when you are about to hiccup.
Are you focusing? Do it harder.
Don't think about anything else.

People will suggest the ole breathe into a paper bag, get someone to scare you, etc.
If a spoon full of sugar doesn't do the trick, then you need to see your doctor.

Watch what u eat. yeast and flour in foods can make u hiccup.
Eat a teaspoon of sugar
Drink a glass of water upside down. THIS WORKS!
