Depends on the severity, if they start to feel cold at all go to hospital immediately as their blood pressure will be dropping and will need an adrenline injection. Make sure they are breathing ok too.

Hello 3bree, would be either but i would say prescription. Take Benadryl, call pharmacist while your waiting to look if the Benadryl takes effect. If all else fails go to urgent Care, Minute health facility in target or ER @ the health center. Allergy symptoms can cause demise specifically when you cannot breathe or get to health center ( i know been there). Call Medics they at the least have oxygen. Have a good AM. :zero) further details: make certain the pharmacist is aware of you may have Penicillin allergy that means if he/she can warn you encase the health care professional makes a mistake. When you taking it just get prescription from counter & form it in correct. Might also LQQk within the PDR bool on-line

IF THIS WAS A SEVERE NUT ALLERGY YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TIME TO POST THIS QUESTION! Get your relative to see a GP in the morning, take piriton or similar antihistamine. Phone your GP even if this is out if hours to confirm this was okay BUT it will not harm your relative to do this anyway before speaking to the GP. This is fine if only a skin rash ANY difficulty with breathing needs immediate attention!
Good Luck
Luv J xx
It is better to over react than wait too long if unsure - so if really worried off to A&E please!

Is the mouth swollen? Tongue, lips swollen? Are they breathing? Phone emergency services and explain what's happening and do this urgently! This can be very serious if it is a nut allergy.
Monitor their breathing.
