from him? What do you desire him to teach you? Please, do not say Church attendance as a means of getting to know him. Would you limit Jesus to teach you only what is written? Would you have any questions for him outside of what is written? Would you DESIRE to walk along beside him, and "chat" with him? Sit with him and discuss. . .? What does he Know - you would want to learn? How will you locate him to have those "chats?"

Dearest Biddy: I, too, wanted what you want. I asked him many questions about living in his era. The answers I got I double checked through books, and found I HAD heard and received the correct answers. Look for Comments after the Answers are Resolved.

Gee Wye: All of you are speaking out to others who may peruse thru here. You're great! I, too, talk with him throughout the day. I remain in a state of spiritual-type communion with him daily. Yes, we can talk to him and hear the answers!

I do walk alongside Him and chat. I sit beside Him and chat. We chat about everything, I like to chat with Him about ideas that individuals have and I ask Him to help me understand them. I don't have to 'locate' Him very often anymore, He is always here with me. When I feel like I might be losing His presence I immediately go into prayer. This happened to me once in a shopping mall and I went into the restroom, the only quiet, private place I could think of to go. It happens when I let my thoughts wonder too far away from Him. When His presence is new to you, it is difficult and I believe many stop once they sense His presence, they kinda think that they're ok now. But the thing is, we need to keep Him with us always, because despite of the awareness we have already been given, there is much more to be shared with us. Sorry this got a little long, but it's so important.

To have a relationship with Jesus, all that is required to get started is to put your trust in him. (John, chapter 3) I have gotten to know him over the years by reading his word, and by talking to him. (No, I am not nuts. People talk to Jesus all the time; it's generally called prayer.) I would not limit Jesus to just what's written, but that's a good starting point. I also have learned a lot about him from church. You see, I have a good, spirit-filled, Bible-teaching church, and that's what one needs to build a solid foundation. I don't have to locate Jesus to have my chats; he's with me all the time. I call on him, and he's there. He has located me! I hope this helps.

Well, if you haven't already done so, first, you need to TRUST Him as your personal Savior and invite Him into your life forever and He will come and live in your heart - the real you, being a SPIRIT being, made in the image of God -- and you can do that.
Just sit and talk to Him as if He was actually sitting right there next
to you, but He's even closer and, actually, ALL three Persons of the Trinity really come into your heart, and so God, in His fullness and mercy, is right there inside each and every one of us who BELIEVE on Him....We are baptized into the Body of Christ by the
Holy Spirit....and even after all this time of being saved, there is so
much that I need to learn about the leading and presence of the Holy Spirit in every day life....
Just talk to Him...
I know, I am not good at what one would call a formalized prayer ritual. I think that maybe the word "prayer" can be intimidating in some ways and so I try not to think about it in that way and I just talk to my Father and my Elder Brother, Jesus - and He is by being adopted into the Family by God when we get saved....and
sometimes when I feel upset or anxious about something inside and I just can't put it into words, as such, I still KNOW that God KNOWS what I am trying to say and what I'm feeling inside about
whatever it is....
There is a wonderful book and movie called A DINNER WITH A PERFECT STRANGER where Jesus invites a woman, unsaved,
to come and have dinner with him -- at least in the movie, it's a woman. And now there is a new book about a woman, I think it is,
who meets Jesus on a plane. I really want to get that book. The movie has been on TBN a few times. The movie is really good and, watching it, you can, as I did, feel yourself imagining what you would do if you had the same opportunity.
Go to CROSSINGS Christian book club or to CHRISTIANBOOK.com....and look under videos....if you don't have a Christian store in your area....
Actually, I am a shut in and not able to attend church. I love to imagine what I'm going to talk to Him about when I get to heaven and/or during the Millenium...It will be fun, I know.... :-)
Oh yes, there is something I want to learn about from Jesus that He could tell me about actually......
If you DON'T already know Jesus as your Savior and you want to,
please call this number and talk to someone about receiving Him.
1-800=759=0700
This is a very interesting question!! ;-)
GOD BLESS YOU!!
