As your religion teaches the belief in the existence of more than one God, how do you explain following bible verses;

"I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God" Isaiah 45:5 and "There is no God apart from me, a righteous God and Saviour, there is none but me" Isaiah 45:21

Mormons don't believe there is more then one God. There is only One Eternal Father whom we worship, who sent His Son, Jesus Christ to redeem the souls of mankind. In the sense that we are to be perfected in Christ, after this life Mormons do believe in the opportunity for continuing progression, including the ability to be with your families and continue to create offspring. Because of the fact you are continuing to create, etc., you are a god, but not God. No one will ever be greater then God, as his glory is infinate. Hope that answers the question, but it is a common misconception. If you would like to know more you could email me. I always try to be as clear as I can.

LDS only has 1 man and 1 wife, if you see that someone says they are LDS and they have more than 1 wife, its a break off of the LDS church. Secondly, We only believe in one true god, heavenly father, but we think of jesus christ as a god too since we look up to him also for the atonement and we need him because we cannot be with god unless we are clean of our sins and jesus christ can help us with that,

Also: There is no belief about us having our own universe or any of that sort....

Yup, listen to straightup. There is on God, the Eternal Father who sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem mankind. We do not worship multiple gods. We worship the God of the Old and New Testaments. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Mormon's don't believe in more than ONE God?

They believe that when you die if your a good Mormon man then you become a god with your own universe. They also believe your wive(s) & children are with you in your heaven, that's why they have big families.
So YES they believe in more than 1 god.
They also believe Satan and Jesus are brothers 1 good 1 BAD.

Where do you get your information that the Mormons believe in the existence of more than one god? I have been married to a Mormon for 33 years and I never heard that. They, at one time, practiced polygamy, having more than one wife. Maybe you are confused.

They will tell you that "our God" is the only God for "this planet"...

When they say this to you - be sure to ask them about the planet "Kolob". They love that one!!
