So basically, this guy I know has basically been dropping all these not so subtle hints about how we should go out and hang out and stuff like that. He flirts with me a lot too and says stuff like 'you make me laugh more than anyone' 'you brighten my day' 'it'd be weird if I saw that movie alone or with guys' 'you look good everyday' 'I would go out with you'. Yet, even though he catches my eye in the hallways, and talks to his friends about me a few times but never talks to me in school - maybe because I never approach him first. He says stuff like "I wish other girls were as cool as you". He made me two cards for V-Day (because I lost the other one) and he walked to my house from his (not that far) to give me the second one.
Yet...
I think he still likes this other girl who he hangs out with a lot and he gave her a flower for V-Day. He says he's just friends with her but I know that he did like her probably like two months ago (she has a b/f now). Does he like me or what?

but he's keeping his options open, so if you turn him down, he hasn't just wasted the last few weeks and has someone else to turn to.
Guys don't fall head over heels for a certain girl, we find a few attractive and try it on, and we go out with which ever one it works with, and then we start to realise how much we actually like the girl we're with (or vice versa).

He does really like you but he is to young to know, girls grow up a lot quicker than boys and he doesnt want his friends to know, tell him you would like to go out 1 night if he says yes then all is good if he says no then im sure he is just very shy yet very silly, good luck x

Svetlana.... I read a few of your answers, this is gonna sound random but you seem pretty cool, and mellow headed.
anyways, yeah i agree, its just natural animal method to be attracted to females of the same species. It makes no logical sense for a guy to only like one person. Just because we say its suppose to be 1:1 socially doesnt mean its how it happens.

1. he is definitely interested in you... that's clear and obvious
2. the other chick in the picture...maybe he still likes her a bit...but i think he would pick you over her.... besides, she does have a bf...so screw her
