Polarized.
Those that use logic, reason, rational thought, helpfulness, diplomacy, critical thinking, understanding, and compassion (etc) are growing in number and making mankind better.
Those that hate, prejudge, follow faith over common sense and logic, seek to destroy, fulfill prophesy, please God at the expense of this world, manipulate, and wallow in ignorance (etc) are growing in number and making mankind worse.
Those that used to be in the middle are decreasing by choosing a side that they feel cannot co-exist.
Right now, its all averaging out. We just hope it shifts in favor of mankind instead of in favor of myths and ghosts.

You don't have to be very observant to answer this question. While there is nothing new under the sun, all of creation is in a downward spiral. Politicians, who talk out of both sides of their mouth, try to refute this reality, but it is no more than whistling in the graveyard to believe differently.
God wound up the clock and created the concept of time when He created this universe. Since then, all things have been getting looser and looser as the clock winds down.
The alarm is about to ring, but a lot of people will just sleep right through it.

I think that is according to were we are.I have seen a lot of bad,but have also witnessed some crazy good.I sure hope we will get it together someday and live in peace and love.

Better. With advancing knowledge and higher education, theism looks more ridiculous every day. It's ability to hobble advancement is waning.

Better.
Mankind is more accepting, understanding, tolerant, etc. Those things are now seen as good things.
of course, if the religious had their way, they wouldn't be good things.
