Hi,
I E-filed my return with HRblock on 02-07-07
I also filed my neices, my nephews and sons the same day.
They have small returns less than 2000, all depostited today
Mine, a refund of 13,000 has said unless errors detected, refund by 02-20-07
Now, the IRS site says we are experienceing delays in processing your return. New expected refund date of 03-06-07

Waht exactly does that mean? Is it due to the large refund?
Why is mine delayed an additional two weeks?

I had the same problem. I filed (a large refund) on 1-12-07. Originally the website said that my money would be direct deposited on 1-26-07, then when it wasn't deposited on that date I checked back and it said there was a delay in processing my refund. I called the IRS and was told that they are verifying income and investigating certain credits that some people are claiming this year. I finally got my refund direct deposited today.
Good luck, I hope yours goes faster than mine did.

I was told when I called them that I may receive my refund in 2-4 weeks from the original date posted on the website - OR I would get a letter telling me why.

It means nothing about your return. Congress passed several tax law changes at the last minute. The IRS had to update their computers for the last minute changes. As a result, thousands of refunds have been delayed simply because the computers were not ready for some of the changes.
