Our Creator Sets the Standard
Our Creator established rules governing marriage long before governments began regulating the institution. The opening book of the Bible tells us: “A man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) The Hebrew word “wife,” according to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words, “connotes one who is a female human being.” Jesus confirmed that those yoked together in marriage should be “male and female.”—Matthew 19:4.
Thus, God intended marriage to be a permanent and an intimate bond between a man and a woman. Men and women are designed to complement each other so they may be capable of satisfying each other’s emotional, spiritual, and sexual needs and desires.
The well-known Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah reveals God’s feelings about homosexuality. God declared: “The cry of complaint about Sodom and Gomorrah, yes, it is loud, and their sin, yes, it is very heavy.” (Genesis 18:20) The extent of their sinful depravity at that time was apparent when two guests visited the righteous man Lot. “The men of Sodom . . . surrounded the house, from boy to old man, all the people in one mob. And they kept calling out to Lot and saying to him: ‘Where are the men who came in to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intercourse with them.’” (Genesis 19:4, 5) The Bible says: “The men of Sodom were bad and were gross sinners against Jehovah.”—Genesis 13:13.
The men became “violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males.” (Romans 1:27) They had “gone out after flesh for unnatural use.” (Jude 7) In countries where homosexual rights campaigns are pervasive, some may object to using the word “unnatural” to describe homosexual behavior. However, is not God the final arbiter when it comes to nature? He commanded his ancient people: “You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”— Leviticus 18:22.
Your Accountability to God
The Bible is clear: God does not approve of or condone homosexual practices. He also disapproves of people who “consent with those practicing them.” (Romans 1:32) And “marriage” cannot give homosexuality a cloak of respectability. God’s direction that “marriage be honorable among all” precludes homosexual unions, which he considers detestable.—Hebrews 13:4.
Still, with God’s help, anyone can learn to “abstain from fornication,” which includes homosexual acts, and “get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor.”(1 Thessalonians 4:3, 4)

Much of what Christ taught did away with many teaching in the Old Testament, including blood sacrifice (because blood sacrifice was a representation of things to come, or Him, and with His coming it was unnecessary). However, there were certain teachings which remained consistant, e.g. the Ten Commandments. Of course the Bible doesn't teach to repress anyone, but that we should respect and love all people. However, loving and respecting does not mean you must agree with actions which are against God's commandments. One can obviously interpret the Bible in a number of ways, including finding it against the laws of God to engage in homosexual activity (note, I didn't say it is against the laws of God to be gay). Just like it is against God's law to commit adultry, fornication, coveting, etc. There are people who act against all of these things yet they are not hated. Only the acts are. Further, it is not hypocritical to profess a certain belief system and not always follow it, but may be hypocritical to preach that someone else do or behave a certain way if you are not. So, a true and faithful Christian will not seek to oppress anyone, including gay people, but may be concerned about their salvation. Most importantly, we should each be concerned about our own (or whatever, that was assuming said person was Christian). Regardless, we should all be respectful of each other, because that is the only way we can expect it in return.

well, because Christ was the perfect sacrifice for atonement of our sins, the bull sacrificing is no longer needed.
sin is sin.. i don't care if it is sexual immorality or lieing or stealing or coveting.... whatever... i'm not saying everyone will burn in hell either... every single person has a choice...
the bible is truth... but only as a whole... you need to know it front and back to know what was covered by the new covenant in Christ and what is still necessary today

Jesus never mentioned a problem with being gay. That was Old Testament Hebrew Law.
Jesus did speak often about NOT Judging others.
Anti Gay is only in the Gospel of Republicanism and Conservative anti-Jesus Churches

We cant make sacrifice because the temple is destroyed. to make sacrifice now would be sacrificing to idles. but yes we need to follow more scripture more precisely, but the rest of the world wouldn't be able to stomach it. every fornicator/is and adulterer/is killed with rocks. freedom of religion is out the door, to a minor extent so is freedom of speech. and how have we oppressed them? In general the majority of Christians AT WORST speak out against gay marriage. Yes you have some nuts(not all Christian) who do beat them up, but they are still allowed to thrive, and most don't really care enough to mess/harass them about it. For most of them it isn't about feeling good, its about whats right and wrong to them, same as how you deal with thieves.

The bible says in the New Testament that a homosexual will not inherit eternal life. The only one picking and choosing Scripture to suit their own agenda is you.

We don't sacrafice bulls because Jesus died for us. He was the perfect sacrafice, so we do not have to sacrafice animals anymore. Homosexuality is still a sin. That has not changed.

I can't answer this question because every time I give a honest answer to someone who is gay I get reported for insulting them, it is not my intention to insult but to give a honest answer.

Because they read their homophobia back into ancient texts which don't even mention sexual orientation at all.
