How long would it take a beginner who went to Kenya to compete in the steep case be lapped?

A beginner in the steeplechase racing a trained Kenyan(probaly a begining Kenyan too) will get lapped immediately. I am not sure what you mean.
The Kenyans who do the steeplechase train quite hard, they are amazing, the event seems to have been made and invented by them they way they are dominating the event. If someone goes over to tarin with them should expect trememdous training but also good results if they follow and can handle it.
