I would like to know if anyone has any idea of glitches in roulette machines, ie, throwing up the same number sequences.
This is because they are supposed to generate a random number, however, it is running a computer program, and theres no such thing as random in computers, its impossible.

I think that these machines are absolutely disgraceful and should be banned, if it could be proven that they werent generating a random number, they would have to remove them.

Now i am aware of a glitch with a certain machine, which throws out one particular number after the screen goes funny.

Im thinking if any sequences were known about then ultimately, these machines would have to be removed as gambling machines, and a lot of people would be a lot happier, without being able to feed their wage into a machine to satisfy the addiction!

If you are aware of 'a glitch' in a certain machine then report this unit to the Gambling commission. They have the powers to have it tested.

However, that is not what you first asked.
A lot of money has been spent to indeed create a random number generation program, what you are experiencing is the human perception of the events you have witnessed.
You can only ever see the machine in use over a relatively short period of time, whereas the program is designed to be random over 60 x 60 x 24 x 365 x N; or over infinity if you prefer.

Is the screen going blurry or is it your vision? As humans we are subjective beings. What seems impossible to many is just a product of probability normally.

Like 'Player' I'm a casino manager too, and the 'impossible' things I've seen are in reality just probability.

i agree about the advice to attend GA. i was addicted severely to roullette machines, as well as other forms of gambling, what you need to realise is you are a compulsive gambler. if these machines werent around you would still gamble, ask yourself this, what did you gamble on before they came into the shops?
i have been gamble free for almost 3 years now. the machines in question are only so addictive because of their format, its inly a generated number, if you put your money in and pressed start, then the winning number flashed up,without the ball rolling,or the anticipation, it would be boring. if you think you might nedd help, give GA a call, 01142620026, 24hr helpline

I'm sorry but what do think a random number generator does exactly? Impossible? You are aware of a glitch?
The machines don't cause the addiction. There are lots of ways to gamble and not one of them causes the addiction. You need to go to your local gamblers anonymous, there you will learn the causes of addiction.

i h8 them but love playing them lol. if its in paying out mode there is usually a sequence. numbers repeating. and i always find that number 8, 31, 20 come out alot. 0 is the best for paying out the biggest money in my experience but only comes a few times.

I know what your saying and yes there is only one winner there, But have you seen the lotto when the balls come out like 42.43.44. and you think that could not happen but it dose. also I was at bingo once when they used balls and one night 5 numbers came out on the run (all in order). so it dose happen!!
