I have a friend who is going to host a fashion jewelry show for me. What should I write in the thank you note? AND NOT JUST THANK YOU!

I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you hosting my show. It meant so much to me and you are such a good friend for doing it. I know it was a chore but I wanted you to know that I really appreciate it and thank you for being such a good friend.

TBH I think if your friend is going to all this trouble for you a bit more than a thank you note is called for. How about a big bunch of flowers or a fruit basket; then all you need to do is think of something to write on the card. Maybe arrange for the gift to be delivered the day after the show, and put on the card something like 'thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful show, lots of love, Star' (or whatever your real name is). Alternatively, you could ask her what she thinks of your pieces and if there is anything that she particularly likes, put it aside and gift wrap it nicely, and give it to her the next day, or asap after that, and simply TELL her how grateful you are and what a brilliant night it was.

Good luck with the show!

I sell Mary Kay, and we write thank-you notes to hostesses, too.

I write, "Thank you so much for inviting me into your home at (date and time here)! We are going to have so much fun, I can't wait!

<3 ya,
(your name here)

I put it on a postcard because it's a lot cheaper for postage, and I can get 500 for $2 from the company.

Good luck with your business!

At the end of the show, besides saying thanks, tell them how appreciative you are for whatever they did. I suggest you put in examples. It'll make them feel very grateful to have a friend that appreicates what they do.
