Buy crates for them and put them in it. Every time you let them out of the crate, take them outside to go to the bathroom. Punish them every time they go to the bathroom in the house and put them in their crate afterwards.

Trust me, that works! I had a puppy and I did the same thing to potty train her.

what i did was kept new, untrained pups in our kitchen when we werent at home (the tile is easier to clean). Cover the whole floor with news paper. when they pee on a spot, take away half the paper and make an area with clean paper and place one wet piece in the middle. This will help them to seek out the "bathroom place" because animal instinctivly learn to go in the same general area. keep cleaning it up though...and only give them one "used training piece" as a reminder untill they seem to get the hang of it...maybe a week or so. then we slowly moved the piece to the door out back so they were getting closer and closer to the back yard. eventually we showed them that the paper was outside the dog door. and because they were used to looking for the paper that smelled like puppy pee, they went outside looking for it, then the spot of grass they used smelled like it, and the rest is history! this worked with all 5 of our dogs. Just be sure not to scold the puppy for an accident unless you catch them IN THE ACT. They are still babies and wont know why they are in trouble. Only gently scolding them though. then go crazy over board with the praise when they are getting it right. believe me, positive reinforcement helps with keeping them calm and not growing up to be overly nervous and afraid, especially with small breeds. GOOD LUCK with puppy parenthood!

At that age they wont be able to hold it in for more then about 2 hours top.

Take them outside at least every two hours, if they go then give them a treat and act like it is the greatest thing in the
world

Whenever they start going inside take them outside and then give them a treat and praise like mad.

They will start realizing that going outside equals you are happy and they get a treat

Take them outside allllllllllllllllllllll the time - especially since their bladders are so small. It helps to take them to the same spot to make them eliminate. Take them out first thing in the morning, throughout the day, and right before you go to bed. You may even have to take them out in the middle of the night until they can hold it longer. Good luck!
