As others have already said, you could not have filed a US tax return 2 months ago. Even it you did, why would you have it sent to the lady that did your taxes. Checks are normally mailed to the taxpayer's address (your address). I don't even know if the check can be sent anywhere else. If you filed by mail on Jan 1, today would be the earliest you could expect your refund even if there were no delays. The IRS does have a 'Where's my Refund' link on their main page. You will need your filing status, SSN, and refund amount to use it.

At best you could have only filed your 2006 taxes about 5 weeks ago. If a check is being mailed, you need to allow 6 to 8 weeks.
You can check the status of your return here: https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp

Go to http://www.irs.gov and click on "Where's My Refund". You enter your SSN, your filing status, and the expected amount of the refund and they will tell you the status of your return.
