i just got a black kitten, any good names?

i just got her the 2/13 and i had Zula as an idea for a name but im not too sure about it anymore. she is light black with tiger stripes.i was thinking coal or shadow but they dont seem to fit a girl cat. any suggestions?

I have three black cats, named Coal the Demon, Ash (AKA Midge) and Sable.

Zula or Zola is a nice name. I don't know if you remember the South African track star Zola Bud; Zola is from an Italian word and means, roughly, "of the earth" with the connotation of darkness.

Do not name the cat salem or merlin... too generic for black cats. coal and shadow, not diggin' those either, sorry. My cats names are boobies, fagit, lessie, and demon haha. But I'd say ask the cat. Animals have their own names, you just have to figure out what it is. Look at her for a while, watch her... when she's comfortable with you then it'll just come to you.

In the meanwhile try Zora (my next kitties name I think but feel free to use it. I really like it)

Whatever you want, it's your cat. In the end, she'll let you know exactly what her name is.

P.S. those are not my cats' real names. Thats just what I call them. "Pet names"-- now do you get it?

Go to the website warriorcats.com and click on games...then get your name and clan...type your name in and whatever else is there and you might get a really coll name for oyur cute new kitty.....but if I may say a cute name for a black kitty with tiger stripes, I would say Mousefur...cute sorta... or Tallpoppy (poppy for short!!) or even Creme or Kahlua....hope you find some use....................

I always liked naming my pets just the opposite of what people would expect. For example, I had a black cat and i named her Sugar. lol. It was definantly a conversation starter.
But if thats not your thing then how about Lucy, the female version of Lucifer, which is another name for satan. I am not into the goth thing, but if you are then maybe you'll like that.

I consider the 1st individual. enable her p.c.. the names. Whenmy parent first delivered domicile our cat allison. My little brother on the time achievable 3 named her. He like the teach complete domicile so as as a result he choose for allison. they are deffinatly perectly able to choosing names them selves. she would be in a position to deffinaly have exciting with them. allison remains alive and kicking at 17 yrs old. I named the different cat we've been given 5 years after.

go by the cats personality and not what others think of what it should be. The best names are the ones that are not popular and that it would be easy to remember if you had to call the cat for some unknown reason. I do not know what personality your cat is, but i like the names of skye or dawn the best...

What I always do is go to google and type in "kitten names for female kittens". This should find u plenty of names. If you want to be more specific you could type in "kitten names for female black kittens". Best of luck finding a name!
