engineering is sooooo general. what kind of engineer?
nuclear engineer? engineman? gas turbansystem technician?

as stated above, nuclear engineers get their training in charleston, south carolina. almost 2 years worth of training. lol.

most rates have more than one place they can get thier a training from. ask your sister's recruiter for all the available bases. after her a school, they'll station her at a navy base.

where she gets stationed will depend on where they need her the most, where she wants to go, and how well she did in her a school.

It sounds like she's a non-designated striker in engineering (a snipe). She'll do several weeks training at Great Lakes after boot camp and then it's out to the fleet.
