Everythings in collections, I just moved to a new city and I can't find a job. I can't afford the payments and havent been able to in a long time. Whats the best thing I can do? Can I get a card with a bigger limit and do a balence transfer?

consider a debt consolidation loan. Some credit unions will help people get back on their feet. Their is a lot of companies we're using a company called a new horizon out of Ft. Lauderdale, Flordia

if you haven't been making your current payments, why on earth would someone lend you more money? They'd just get stuck being the ones not getting paid back too.

No job= easier bankruptcy. It sucks, but that's what it's there for.

Sorry, I don't think there's any bank willing to help you.

I have a friend that just got as much cash advances on his credit cards, and then just claimed bankruptcy. I would make sure you own NOTHING, as far as a car and house goes, when you claim bankruptcy.

Vote democrat and find a government program that will support you.

Offer repayments at a level you CAN afford. You could make it ridiculously low until you have settled and got a job. Don't make yourself bankrupt just yet if you don't need to.

bankruptcy court was made for people in your situation, if it's already in collections you're done with the cc companies.
