Have you had a Depo-Medrol injection? What was it meant to treat, and did it work for you? What side effects or reactions did you have?

I've been diagnosed with reactivated Epstein Barr Virus, and my Dr. wants to use Depo-Medrol to suppress the immune response to the virus to help alleviate symptoms.

I'm just looking for opinions and views on this drug from those who have used it, or those who prescribe it! Thanks!

This site give product information on the uses and side effect of the drug. I've had a couple of injections to reduce the inflammation of my sciatic nerve from a ruptured disk and it did wonders for my sciatica (lower back pain).

Get a second opinion. Maybe another doctor will suggest anti-virals.
